Just a note for Canadians, Comedy Network has picked up The Colbert Report and it will start next Monday after the Daily Show.
"When did they pass a law that says the people who make my sandwich have to be wearing gloves? I'm not comfortable with this. I don't want glove residue all over my food; it's not sanitary. Who knows where these gloves have been?" - George Carlin

Will they air it in the mornings as well? Hopefully we'll see the end of COMEDY AT CLUB 54 with this new addition to the Comedy Network lineup.
I caught a bit of the show, and I love it. Bravo!
Hey man, don't knock Club 54. Nothing beats that early 90's humour!
I'm really, really looking forward to the Report. I just saw the S4 DVDs of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and had a good laugh at Colbert's small role in the final episode as the hexer.
Edited.....wow, 3800 posts. Where does the time go?
(edited by Big Bad on 5.11.05 2049) On the flip side, congrats to ABC for hiring Tim McGraw to tailor the lyrics to "I like it, I love it" for every halftime highlight show throughout the "Monday Night Football" season. Just last week, my buddy House and I were discussing Cosell's classic highlight narratives in the '70s, and how nobody had approached them since, and I told House, "Only one thing could ever come close, and I know it's a long shot, but what if ABC hired Tim McGraw to tailor the lyrics to 'I Like it, I Love It' for each week of NFL highlights throughout the season?" And wouldn't you know, it happened! See, dreams can come true. --- Bill Simmons, www.sportsguy.net
Say what you want about the believability of the show's premise or some of the things that Michael does, but this show is beautiful when it revisits old characters and storylines. Quinn (the dead psycho agent in the well)
