I keep thinking this show's about to turn the corner, but this episode didn't do it for me, either. And that says a lot for me, considering how much I've loved Cleveland and Cleveland Jr. so far.
I still appreciate trying to establish new characters for the show, but the deformed coach feels like he was put in for shock value more than anything else. But I'm starting to love some of the other recurring characters like Wally Farqua and Oliver the deaf jock.
The cast is good enough to make some funny episodes, but the writing hasn't quite caught up yet. A baseball episode isn't going to do it.

I still think the fantasy booked leg amputation would have made a better ending, but this was good enough. Edelstein must have left on really bad terms, because there is really no logic in her not being at House's funeral.
