I like the guy too, but we all know that he was never going to get a decent push because of his size (and possible extra curricular activities). I know he held the tag title with London for a year, but when is the last time holding a tag title meant anything significant? ROH or TNA are much better options for him.

man, this does suck. I don't watch nearly as much wrestling as I used to, but would always make a point to catch Kendrick, even it was watching it online.

He had a good thing going with Jackson on Smackdown, and that got shot to hell. I'd like to see him re-team with London and possibly head to TNA. Those two vs. the MCMG would be incredible.

All true. Still disappointing, though, as WWE really doesn't need to lose one more guy that I like. Kendrick out and Masters in? Epic fail. Besides, I never watch ROH and I only watch TNA for hilarious Scott Steiner promos.

Agreed. Why do they let good workers like Kendrick and Colt Cabana go, while rehiring Masters and NOT releasing Mark Henry...? There is no justice.

He was at his best with Paul London...but I'm wondering why they didn't let his personality show a bit more. I loved his "Spanky" routine during his earlier years. Why couldn't Vince let "Leonardy Spanky" show up?

Come on, TNA, sign him ASAP...he's be awesome in the X Division.

London/Kendrick vs. MCMG would be awesome! As a 5 minute curtain jerker match. IMO Shelley is the most underused wrestler in either company so I doubt TNA would do anything significant with London or Kendrick either.

What was it that got him so buried after this? Is he just a dick, or was it true that he smoked too much pot, was he showing people up?

It doesn't surprise me that he got released, but it is a shame that the WWE has no idea what to do with guys like this.

Disappointing but not unexpected. This is his second time released, right?

I'd like to see him in TNA but I tend to agree with Quezzy on this point. (I always cling to signs that the X Division is just about to have a comeback but it never actually happens, and it's probably less likely than ever now, with the MEM uber-angle and the absence of Jarrett.)

He'd probably be better off in ROH -- hey, I'd like to see Kendrick & London vs. The Briscoe Brothers.

Not surprising but still disappointing. I've always enjoyed everything from Kendrick, his goofy pretty-boy face era, the We-Were-Never-Called-Hooliganz-On-TV tag team and his dickish dancing days as The Brian Kendrick. We'll always have "Man With A Plan" at least.

As was stated above...replacing Kendrick with Masters on the RAW roster gives me one more reason to just have the show on in the background on Mondays...

I'm with you on Masters, but Henry has been good for awhile now! I prefered him as the World's Strongest Heel, but I like his current role and think he plays it perfectly.

If you (and others) enjoy Henry, that's fine. But for the first 10 years of his career, he was rarely treated as more than a mid carder at best. And the guy never did anything to seem like he deserved more. Other than be 350 lbs. After that many yeers of being a midcarder, it's just hard for me to think of a guy as more than that. It was the same when they would try to push Bob Holly or Billy Gunn.

I believe Mark as a monster because he disappeared for a really long time, almost two years I think, before he came back as a Batista Killer. He still stunk on Smackdown but I thought he did a very good job as the World's Strongest Champion. Even if the only good matches he's had in three years (or thirteen) have been with Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy.

Don't get me wrong...I think this is the first time they've seriously tried to push Henry as a face...but he still sucks. Why the hell did they sign him to such a long contract?

edit: whoops!

Contract in question expired 3 years ago. He's still there because they want him there.

Mark Henry had a pretty nice run when he was managed by Teddy Long. The problem with Mark Henry is that every time he seems to find his rhythm in the ring and starts working a nice big man style, he gets hurt and has to go away for awhile. We've started over with him more than anyone I can think of.

Kennedy! Also to a lesser extent Batista, although they never really have to reestablish his momentum so much because he can just show up and spinebuster the shit out of everyone and I WANT MY REMATCH
