If we get there... the blues have the players who can turn it up and burn up the ice.

IMO they can't beat any of the 3 division leaders in a series but do match up well with the rest of the teams...i still can't believe the blackhawks have kept it up the whole season.

| #6 Posted on 7.4.02 1432.35 | Boucher has been a huge disappointment this season. He won the starting job in training camp but got injured and has not been the same player since. Everytime I see him play he reminds me of Hextall which is not a good thing.
Flyers will probably lose in the first round.

Conversely, if the Islanders maintain 6th place, I can see them getting past 3rd place Carolina. Amazing year for the Islanders, who finished dead last in the league last year! | SerWolfe

Very true, man - but I think they're in trouble against the Hawks!

| #11 Posted on 15.4.02 1910.44 | Yeah...St.Louis has quietly played some great hockey over the last couple of weeks of the season. This will be a tight series, but I think the Hawks have the edge in goaltending.

Unfortunately, we got the Senators and Flyers instead. Here's hoping for a double countout and someone gets a bye.
I can dream. There are no two teams I despise more than those two.
This is one of those years I feel any series can go anyway - and I think we're up for an exciting few weeks.
Go Canes.

| #18 Posted on 27.4.02 2026.34 | Brent Johnson is the man, but I think the Blues will need some help. They have struggled with Colorado and Detroit (who they probably end up playing.) However if the Kings can pull off a Game 7 miracle, St Louis would play San Jose, a team that the Blues have a better matchup with. So for right now, until the 2nd round of the playoffs all I can say is "Let's go Kings!!"
