CASH GRAB!

I suppose I should wait'n'see but c'mon, this stuff has been available for like twenty years in multiple configurations. I want to see some track listings and prices. (Then, I'll be SURE!)

It's been available on CD in sub-standard mixes made in 1987 (and the first four albums available only in mono). New remasters have been long, long overdue. The difference between the 1987 CDs and these new remasters will be night and day.

While I'm sure that's true, you need to remember that mono originals were made in that system and made to be listened to that way. Sometimes stereo doesn't help.

I agree - they're SUPPOSED to be in mono. Now you have to buy a second box set to get it in mono? Please GO TO POST #2. ;-)

Yeah; I mean it's not like they were released in both mono and stereo on vinyl in the 60's or anything!

Oh, wait...

The Beatles can certainly be as much about the money as anybody, but, really, they could be on their fourth version of the CDs if they really wanted to be. It's been over 20 years, and fans have certainly been clamoring for this.

Granted, there are ways they could make it more affordable, but you can't say that they shouldn't do an upgrade.
