The incredible Lakers. Kobe =MVP and/or best player in the league by far....proving it every night now...just get ready when Shaq, the most awesome player ever in the NBA, gets back in the lineup.
Lakers get in the playoffs and win all the way through.
Get ready for an AWESOME Laker championship. ;)

"As long as the moon shall rise" "As long as the rivers flow" "As long as the sun will shine" "As long as the grass shall grow"
Is that like "the awesome undertaker, who is awesome?"
"No one's ever done a movie about flowers before. So there are no guidelines." "What about "Flowers for Algernon"?" "Well, that's not about flowers. And it's not a movie." "Ok, I'm sorry, I never saw it." -- Adaptation
(Hey, when Undertaker squashes a jobber, does that make him any less awesome than when he gets his umteenth WrestleMania victory in a row? No sir, I say it does not.)
Living in Laker town myself, everyone here has gotten used to the fact that the Lakers have never taken the regular season seriously, hence their horrific start. Now they're getting back into playoff form and they'll be ready for Sac town in the first round.
And to CRZ, he who hails from Sac town, the Lakers DID beat the Clippers. And they have also beaten playoff teams (e.g tonight's victory over Detroit). We'll see you guys in the first round!

All right, you're forcing my hand. I love the Lakers, and I remember stating as much in this forum several times. So don't think I'm not representing.
That being said, the Kings/Mavs game last night was the most entertaining basketball game I've seen all season. Bad defense be damned, the offensive show by both teams (until Dallas fell apart at the end) was phenomenal. If it is Kings/Mavs in the playoffs, it will be a fun series to watch (my disdain for the Kings notwithstanding).
College basketball will kick off tomorrow night with Midnight Madness at many schools - practice will most assuredly begin for all programs on Saturday.
