It Angle v. Edge in a Hair v. Hair match at Judgement Day. One of these guys are getting scalped.

NOw - if it's Kurt - well, he's balding anyway - but can you imagine how Edge would look w/o all that hair? His head would probably be as shiny as those 7654 teeth in his mouth. :)

I think it would do a lot for Edge's character, as weird as that sounds. Picture him doing the crazy pissed off face...only bald. He'd look like a homicidal maniac! Rawk on dood.

Well, hair vs. hair doesn't necessarily mean bald, maybe just a crewcut. Think back to when Jeff Jarrett lost that crazy long-haired 'do of his.

I think it could probably help Edge out.

Clearly, this will be the opportunity the WWF is waiting for to shave Kurt's head and make him evne less serious a threat in the fans' eyes.

In all seriousness, I just don't see Angle winning this match. I just can't. Maybe they're trying to get the women even more behind Edge for this one at the PPV, so they'll squeal with fear whenever there's a nearfall against him.

Edge losing the hair couldn't hurt. It did wonders for Jarrett and revived Taker. It would also take away from the 'fun loving' surfer look that seems to get him into gimmick ruts...but the heel always loses these matches.

just curious: when was the last hair vs. hair match in WWF? I feel like there was a woman's one, but I might be confused.

Last one I remember was the afore mentioned X-Pac/Jeff Jarrett match from SummerSlam '98. I was wishing the Edge/Booker T match at WrestleMania X8 would become a hair vs. hair match to make sense of the stupid Japanese Shampoo Commercial storyline, but no such luck.

Of course, they could always back into it by having Booker T run in on the Edge/Angle match, causing Edge to lose, and then have Booker explain that he did it in revenge for losing the commercial contract. Unfortunately, the WWF is doing a poor job of follwing up on storylines these days - and they seem to be aiming for a Booker T/Goldust feud (and the many PPV buys that would generate).

I figured it out (while watching Hawk get his head shaved on TE2)! This hair vs. hair match is all leading up to the return of Hogan`s pal, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake! :)

As much as I'd just love to see Kurt take the nod here, I just don't see Edge losing two straight PPV's to the same guy, especially when he's on "the verge" of Superstardom/ Main Eventing. Then again, does anyone really think Edge is going to be fighting Hogan in the main event of a SummerSlam anytime soon?

I can't believe everyone here thinks Angle will lose. When my wife and I saw this promo on Smackdown! we had the exact same reaction immediately-- "Obviously, Edge wants to change his look and wants a storyline excuse, so that the fans who like his current look can take it out on Angle rather than being mad at Edge. What would be the point of shaving Angle's hair, it would grow back to its current length in a week! Edge probably toyed with the idea of doing this at WM, which was the reason for the Shampoo angle, but chickened out (either on shaving his head or jobbing in his hometown) so they dropped it."

All of these things point to Angle keeping what little hair he has. Stephanie's idea of having Booker give Angle an assist would be really cool, but it would get in the way of Booker's impending face turn, so I don't think they'll do it.

Why are you all so sure Edge will win, just because it would be the second loss in a row to Angle?

Edge will lose the hair. That was my response as soon as I heard the stip. It was probably going to be a Hair vs. Hair match as a rematch against Booker T, but since there was no heat at all in that feud the plans were scrapped. Edge got shifted into a feud with Angle, and now they're finally able to get the hair vs. hair feud to work.

That makes a lot of sense. A hair-v-hair rematch between Edge and Booker at Backlash that ended up scrapped would explain a lot.

If they were going to go this way and have Edge lose his hair in a stipulation match, he probably should have gotten the win at Backlash. I don't know if he can take a second PPV loss to Angle and be able to stick around for a third match at King of the Ring. How do they get to it, have him attack Angle and do the crazy smile like he kept doing to Regal?

Since Angle has nothing to lose in the hair match, his stipulation should should be that, with a loss, he has to grow his hair out like a damn dirty hippie or one of those crazy Canadian rock stars wannabes.

Actually, that sounds like a possibility. I mean... Angle's proven more than willing to look like a big huge goof, and I've gotten used to Edge with that look to the point where if I try to picture him with short hair it winds up looking like a funhouse mirror, all teeth and chin.

So, then. On Smackdown, Edge'll come out and add a stip forcing Kurt to wear a wig if he loses for, say, a month. And for the next month Kurt comes out looking like the lead singer for Whitesnake on steroids... er, sorry. "Suppliments".

I can't think of anyone Angle wins. They're legitimizing Edge. He's semi-pushed and they know these two will give a hell of a match. Plus, bald Angle RULES! It gives him even more chance to get laughed at, and pissed off. Thus leading to more feuds. It makes Edge looks good to win, and allows Angle more heat as he goes on a "I'm bald" rampage. I'm out.

A lot of people have been dissing "Three Minute Warning" as a stupid tag team name that is not intimidating, but at least they HAVE a common name. It beats the heck out of "Rosey & Jamal.
