OK - as you know - KOTR is up next.

Who's your pick this year? I'm going with either RVD or Booker since I don't really see anyone on the SD! crew who can take it this year.

As I've said before, I'll say again...

Austin will win it.

By the way, when the hell was the last time he did the job? Can anyone even remember?

The money bet would be on Billy Gunn to win it all again. All kidding aside, it'll probably end up going to somebody like Lesner just to push him over more. RVD is already a clearly established star, and I don't see them ever doing anything positive with Booker. This is my favorite PPV of the year so as long as Vince or Flair don't win it, I'll be happy.

I say it's Booker T vs. Edge. Booker gets into the finals by beating another NWO member. In the finals they come down and turn on Booker, who somehow still pulls out a win at which point he goes full-face and repudiates the NWO.

Wait, you don't think Edge and Angle have been feuding just long enough for it to bleed into a KotR feud between the past two winners? :)

Only reason I wouldn't think that is, and perhaps I'm being too logical, but I am under the impression that the finals will be a Raw wrestler vs. a SD! wrestler. If it isn't set up like that, let me jump on the Edge vs. Angle bandwagon right now. Just seems from the graphic though like the champion will have somehow been proven the best of both brands, which would seem to imply each side producing their finalist. So I thought anyhow.

Yeah, the graphic has a man with his hand raised, standing between the RAW and SmackDown logos. So one can only assume that a RAW bracket and SmackDown bracket is what they're gonna go with.

Then again, trying to find logic in the WWF is like trying to find the vodka that comes in Coke. You can't find what's not there.

Yeah, bro, that is wishful thinking. But I hope you're right, because the WWF hasn't done a damn thing good with Booker T.

I'm hoping Eddy.

I'm thinking Lesnar.

He jobbed at Backlash to 'Taker. Not exactly a long time ago.

I think that RVD or Lesner will get it, though don't discount the Angle/Edge Feud creeping in and making an significant impact.

I'm thinking Lesner will take the Raw KOTR slot, but havent' been able to watch Smackdown! lately.

Maybe Rikishi for the Smackdown slot?

Edge and Angle will end up against one another for the SD spot...

Hard to pick against Lesner in the RAW spot. RVD looks to be battling the great 'Taker for the title...

I put my quarter on RVD. That way they can build to a RVD-Taker match in July as it looks like they will be going with Hogan-Taker again.

D'Von vs. Bubba in the finals. They set it up at Judgement Day and will follow it through to KOTR. Might not be the "star-making" event many people are making it out to be, but when was the last KOTR that actually did that? The last one they TRIED with was Billy Gunn, and we know how that ended up. Kurt Angle and Edge didn't really need the wins when they won it, so it doesn't seem to be the "next step for an up and comer" everybody is saying it is. I agree that is SHOULD be used for this purpose, but in actuallity, it hasn't been in a few years.

I'm thinking KOTR might be a truly inter-brand PPV- a good way to move titles around. Bubba v. D-Von will be a scheduled match. Flair should force Regal (or D-Lo) into an impossible to win European title match against one of the SD stars at the PPV (Benoit?) so that Vince will agree to start floating the tag titles. This should solve tag problems and elevate the European title (IC becomes the RAW title, and Euro becomes the Smackdown title, though they need not be renamed). As for the tourney:

RAW KOTR: Brock over X-Pac, RVD over Booker; Brock over RVD

SD! KOTR: Edge over Mark Henry, Angle over Maven; Edge over Angle.

KOTR: Brock over Edge (I think they'll save Brock v. Angle, but I wouldn't put money on my SD bracket prediction until I've seen this week's show)

"Cram it with walnuts, ugly!"- Mr. Homer Simpson

The European Title MUST go to Smackdown and Carthage MUST be destroyed.

Like pretty much everyone else said, this probably won't be the final. I honestly think it might be better served as a regular match, but if it leads to them interfering in the tourney, I'd be happy with that too...
