Imagine, a Senator with mic skills and work rate. (Does this tangent tell you how highly I think of the Dean). At least if he picked his garbageman, it would have been a funny pick.

I guess that is one reason to LIKE Jesse. I mean, it makes sense to appoint a Democrat (though I thought voters voted for a canditate, and not a party, and therefore anyone could be appointed and it would be ok... but that is me..). No one could complain about that choice. But he actually stood up, being one of the few who COULD do anything about the insult of that farce of a memorial service, and slapped the Democrats in the face without really helping the Republicans at all. Classic.
