MW must have read me back in the day as he has been very kind to me in recent weeks. By mentioning me on Twitter, he's gotten me about 50 new followers.

It's amusing that there are always more people than I think on Twitter who REMEMBER me, but never thought to see if I was ON Twitter, or indeed even knew I did anything after leaving WrestleLine in 2001 (or, optionally, Online Onslaught in 2002). I kinda wonder if MW was one of those guys who was surprised to learn I still existed...in which case, whichever one of you guys clued him in, thanks to you as well!

REFERENCE: I made the first (misspelled) Poochie reference during the 12/7/98 Nitro (slashwrestling.com), and actually CALLED him "Big Poochie" the next week. All of this occurred right after I quickly determined that Kevin Nash was a shitty booker and said as much during a now infamous diatribe coming out of a Jericho/Konnan TV title match followed by an airing of "Konnan's Music Video.". Clearly, this was very important to me in 1998....but I guess that was the kind of "insight" that helped make WrestleManiacs the somethingest professional wrestling site on the World Wide Web.

Oh, and have I ever told you about how SportsLine had to shutter WrestleLine only four months after I left them (web.archive.org)? That never fails to amuse me.

Sadly(?), the "wrestleline.com" and "wrestline.com" domains has fallen into the hands of a squatter...which is apropos, I guess, since Sportsline failing to keep "wrestlemaniacs.com" out of the hands of a squatter is still what I generally view as the beginning of the end.

I'm not too proud to admit that it was that exact Konnan diatribe that got me following your reviews in the first place, as I also hated Konnan and his gimmick at the time. Sometimes I'm surprised just how much of the stuff you coined is still going around the internet.

As I've said in the past, I think the Fuck You, Kevin Nash is the highlight of the CRZ recap era. (see various Joe vs the World podcasts)

I'm not 100% percent sure, but I think I have discussed CRZ/Wrestleline with David Shoemaker (aka The masked man) in the past. I don't remember if it was regarding the Big Poochie reference or something else.
