It starts an hour from as I write this on ESPN2 and then moves over to ESPN probably some time right after the Capriati/Myskina match. (GO JEN GO)

For me, it's always highly addictive to watch. Mainly because it's a chance to root against awkward, overachieving children and watch their emotional collapse when they miss a word and that little bell rings.
If you haven't seen it, "Spellbound" is a GREAT documentary on the 1999 national spelling bee. Fascinating insight into how seriously the kids (but really their parents) take this thing:

They're probably gonna re-run it every half hour on ESPNews... Brian Kenny loves the kids passing out.
What was weird, though, was while they're giving him the word, you could see the kid reacting like "oh shit..." and realizing he's gonna faint. Oh, and no one helped him up, either. One contestant (who was already punched out) got up, but that's it.

My old boss is from Minnesota, and he showed me some tapes of curling and it looks...different. Almost like a cross of shuffleboard and chess, on ice.
The only thing I've seen that is more odd was some Morris Dancing.

I saw curling on my American TV a few weeks ago, but I don't remember if it was ESPN, the Deuce or FSW.
