Test released
Written: February 27, 2007

As first reported by WWE Mobile Alerts, WWE has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstar Test (Andrew Martin). We wish Test all the best in all future endeavors.

Wasn't he in a car accident just a short while back and it ended up getting him suspended?

I never like to hear that a guy lost his job, but from a fan standpoint, thank god. I was afraid he would be stuck into the money in the bank match.

Great put him in TNA with Lance Hoyt and you can have the Bad original and the even worse knock-off.

Or, maybe he and Steiner can reteam together.

I thought he had potential in ECW. He had nice speed and selling for a big guy, and he put "oomph" in the moves. It's a shame really.

I know ECW isn't exactly WWE's premier brand, but to go from main eventing a brand to unemployed in a couple weeks? What did Test do?

Failed a "Wellness Test" and got into a car accident where he may or may not have been DUI from what I heard.

My friend always loved Test. I thought he was pretty good this last time around, but nothing really special. Never like to see a WWE Superstar get released though. =\

He should have never cut the hair and retired the leather pants.

Other than Lashley ECW seems to be the last step before the door.

He was given every opportunity to get over for years, and they even hired him back after firing him for another failed push. Hopefully he saved his money, because quite frankly, he has shown he doesn't have what it takes to get over.

He looked roided to the gills at the Rumble, was he really suspended for wellness reasons?

I believe I read somewhere either Hogan or Angle said he's invested well in real estate, so he's secure moneywise.

Wellness violations are less about using something and more about not having a valid doctor's prescription for it.

I could banally reference Kelly Kelly but all I want to say is that, for the final time, Matt Striker gives you ... Test.

Yep, I'm not shedding a tear over Test losing his job. He made all sorts of mistakes, and while I don't watch WWECW, Test hadn't had any good matches on PPVs, so I can't even say that he is a decent worker anymore.

I can only hope that Test is not going to TNA, because like Packman said, they have their Test in Lance Hoyt. And the last thing I need is a Hoyt vs. Test dance-off.

Really? I mean, it depends on who it is, but I generally think WWE Housecleaning Day is a pretty awesome day. Gotta keep checking WWE.com to see who got fired NOW, and it's mostly guys I don't care for, and then I have stuff to discuss with my friends, and I can make up hilarious puns about the dudes who got fired... good times.

I never spent more time on WWE.COM than during the last housecleaning day. Even though it's never nice to see someone lose their job...

ANd as for Test: Good luck in the future. I liked you in ECW. Kind of.
