It's a Slurpee machine! What's wrong with you people? I LOVE Slurpees!

(I couldn't use it tomorrow because tomorrow is already set to be something else)

Ahh, the Slurpee. The greatest (and only) reason I would bike 3 miles to the nearest 7-11 in my youth. Don't have as much as I used anymore, but they're still quite chilling and delicious, especially the crystal light brands (my faves being raspberry ice and peach mango).

I like Icees and Mister Mistys better than Slurpees.

but slurpees were great back in the 1970s, especially in Marvel Super Heroes cups.

Welcome home, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Inf, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army Nat'l Guard! Good luck to those down south.

No 7-Eleven stores up here. Every Free Slurpee Day, I feel slighted.

It took me until 3:30 this afternoon to realize: 7/11
Man, I feel stupid.

Honestly, my first thought when I saw it this morning was: "Strange things are afoot at the 7-11."

Then I realized it was supposed to be Circle K, and just threw that idea right out.

The 7-11 near my office always mysteriously has broken Slurpee machines on 7-11. Well, the three times that day has come around since I started working here. But that's a fair sample.

Buncha dicks.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to tend to a Slurpee machine at the intersection of two major Manhattan streets either.

Still, buncha dicks.

I went at lunch. Man, these things are tiny!

They weren't really paying attention to who was getting what, though. I probably could have grabbed three or four of these.

Is it just me, or is there anyone else who is mezmorized by the Dwight Schrute- looking head paperweight on the right?

It's a Dwight stress ball from Target (based on the bobblehead design).

7.11 oz.

I had three (so far) from three different 7-Elevens. Coke, grape, and Slurpaccino.

You too, huh? Well, the way things are going with sugar-free products these days, hopefully they'll have a healthier milky way bar we can both munch on in the future.

Harry & David have some REALLY goo sugar-free jams. They just had a buy three and get a fourth free sale.

Last Sept, my blood sugars were around 250ish, with spikes upto 405. Now it's about 120 with some highs of 150. All pre-meal.

My endocrinologist said "diet and exercise" so that's what I've been doing.
