Kim made this one, but allow me to read her mind....it's totally unintentional.

Nancy allen.

One presumes this is another John Carpenter movie. (of course, it could be a Brian De Palma movie.)

I think it's "Dressed To Kill".

When I was a teenager, I remember that Nancy Allen was the very first Hollywood actress that I wanted to bang. Then came along Morgan Fairchild.....

For a half-second there, I thought you said Morgan Freeman and I was so very confused.

Thanks! I was hoping for a fallback plan, in case I end up hanging my left at Los Angeles too close to rush hour! Timing, timing, timing.

    What?
Aww. I'm driving from the Bay area back toward Phoenix today. I usually take I5 to the 210 loop around Los Angeles proper to get to I10. But I was/am concerned that my departure time from the Bay puts me at Los Angeles in prime rush hour -- thus adding about 2 hours just for traffic. However, your clever coincidental suggestion of route 138 is a scenic back-door that gets me around Los Angeles at a bigger radius.

What? That wasn't what you *intended*??? :-)

Nope. July 9th was David Hockney's birthday and I always liked that particular photomontage of his.

Would you like to learn more? (getty.edu)

Okay, that's Jean-Pierre Laud on the left, right? But I don't know what the movie is.

***EDIT -- Figured it out, I think.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0060675/

(I've never seen this one -- I find Godard pretty frustrating. What are your feelings about it?)

Fuck ROCKY HORROR.

I can't fucking stand that film or the assholes who go every week and shout at the screen and throw shit all ofer the place.

You have no idea all the shit those people leave lying in the theaters after a midnight showing.

...yeah, I used to be one of them, I was Eddie when I used to be REALLY fat, and after I started losing the weight, they demoted me and since I enjoyed the scene, I stayed around and did clean up for about 4 months untill I finally just got fucking sick of having to clean up after the slobs.

...uh, if those lips are NOT from ROCKY HORROR, please ignore this post

I honestly didn't think people still did that. There haven't been Rocky Horror theater showings around here since the late 80's.

So first you liked the movie enough to have seen it enough times to have memorized all of the lines. Then since you knew the movie so well, you were able to play Eddie while all those people in the theater were throwing all the crap on the floor. Then you couldnt play Eddie anymore but you "enjoyed the scene" enough to stick around for 4 months of clean-up duty. Then sometime after that, you started hating the film and the people who went to see it.

Did you hate all of those people throwing crap on the floor back when you were on stage watching them do it? Didnt you know what you were in for when you started clean-up duty?

I read your post about 3-4 times and it still doesnt make any sense to me.
