Just out of curiosity, when posting a link, do CRZ and/or Guru have a preference between a new browser window or simply a link that moves within the same window?

If you don't want to use the [link ...]/[/link] code (which automatically generates code to create a new window), we'd prefer you add a TARGET="_blank" within your own A HREF code, yeah.
