Dean Cain has already been on the show. They just need to shoehorn John Shea in, maybe as Lex Luthor's grandfather or some crazy shit like that.
John Schneider, Julian Glover, and Laura Vandervoort are coming back, as well as Aquaman, Hawkman and others in future episodes. But still no Michael Rosenbaum or Kristin Kreuk. Still, they're going all out for the final season, including already showing the Superman costume Brandon Routh wore in Superman Returns:
The song is awful, I know.

I do like how they've integrated Superman and Lois legacies into guest stars over the years. Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Dean Cain, and now Teri Hatcher. I think all we need now is for Tim Daly and Dana Delaney to stop by once.
I hate Chloe and I hate how they have to shoehorn into every Smallville year when she probably should have died back in season 5 or 6. Having said that, I am a bit excited for this season of Smallville due to Geoff Johns being in charge of the DC properties in the media and there seems to be a balls to the wall attitude about the last season. I hear we might get the Amazon and the Bat when he fights the supposed big bad of Darksied.

Plus Noel Neill and Kirk Alyn (1950's serial Lois and Clark) in the 1980 "Superman" movie as Lois Lane's parents. During the "young Lois on the train" scene.
