That was funny.
Also funny was Raven's line about the giant chicken.

The first appearance of Super Deformed Titans.
And, is it just me, or does that theme song get stuck in your head for hours after the show's over?
FYI, If you snoop around the net, you can find out who some of the classic Titans villains are that will be appearing on the show. We can only hope for Terra.

Who ya gonna call?!?! TEEN TITANS!!
T - E - E - N T-I-T - A-N-S!!
Teeeeeeeeeeeeen Titans~!
Terra would be AWESOME. I hope that they would actually build an entire season's storyline around her relationship with Gar and her eventual betrayal of the team.
Of course, they could never do the whole Slade is doing her subplot, now could they?
I wonder where was this cartoon 15 years ago when the comic was SO popular.

Sadly, next week, Teen Titans is preempted because of stupid Kids Next Door Weekend.

I suppose they really can't do Brother Blood either?

I could swear I read somewhere that they were planning on using Brother Blood, I just don't remember where I read it. I'll have to look into it...
Edit: I looked into it, and I can't find anything to back it up. But they are going to be using Killer Moth?!?!

The characters seem a bit young for Blood.
Perhaps its all in the presentation?
What about Trident? Or Vigilante?

Brother Blood could be touchy due to the religious overtones.
And Trigon has the whole Devil cult thing too.
Now, if they could do the Brotherhood of Evil, I would be very happy. Imagine the possibility, down the line, of a Brain/Monsiuer Mallah two-pack action figures.

| #30 Posted on 4.8.03 0717.11 | Good points, Mr. Coale.
I guess that's the catch--much of what Wolfman and Perez did back in the 80s was unquestionably dark and gritty (which is why it made for such great storytelling). Looking back on the subjects they wrote about, they seemed way ahead of the curve. Remember their stories about drug use, runaways and what not?
The cartoon seems much too lighthearted for any *true* treatment of much of the original stories, sans the entire "Slade's purpose is to destroy the Titans" theme.
Although on the toon, they will have to eventually explain why a grown man has it in for a bunch of misfit teenagers.
The Brotherhood would be awesome. Monsiuer Mallah destroying all of Speedy's (Aresenal) weapons and Wally's girlfriend with the magnetic powers having to help when all she wanted was to be normal is one of my fondest memories of them.
I'm also interested to see how they treat Thunder and Lightning. The perrenial small time crook/trouble maker storylines can get old really quickly. Had they taken an adult-adolescent spanning approach similar to Justice League, they could have basically turned the first 35-40 issues into episodes one after the other (sans the Wonder Girl stuff).
Oh well.
And now I want guess stars. Damn, what an awesome comic it was at one time.

If they do bring in a Wonder Girl, I assume it'll be the Cassie Sandsmark WG, and not the Donna Troy WG.

Huh. When I saw it initially on IMDB, it had her as Raven for some reason. Starfire does make a lot more sense, tho.
