I was actually sad to see the Paolo family go. Yes the bickering early on was annoying, but I kind of felt like they were really coming together as a family (probably because of editing...but still) and I was amazed at how the mom was keeping up.
The Weaver family fills me with hate.

The Producers obviously don't like the Weavers all that much either since this is now the 2nd time they have had to go to a racetrack. Though I will say, in my opinion, that a go-kart track really should not have caused so much angst in the family. Getting through the challenge at Talladega was a much bigger stepping stone for them.
Class act by the Paolo's making sure that the Bransen Family had clothes from their bags on before they stepped on the mat at the non-elimination leg. I certainly hope that the kids have a better perspective of their father too since the 2 sons proved to be weak in so many areas and their father just kept pushing on.
Don't like the Linz family, not wild about the Weavers, Godlewski - eh ?, leaves me with Wally & his girls.....
I really am disliking the Weavers immensely. At first I felt a little guilty since their husband/father had died. But wasn't it like 18 months before the taping? And if it was going to be so angst-filled, why not get some counseling rather than racing around the countryside in an SUV?
At this point, I am cheering for all three other teams just so the Weavers don't win, but the editing makes me think they do win. ick.
It's like they cast the Weavers to confirm every stereotype those of us up North have of Southern Christian homeschoolers -- meanspirited, hypocritical, unable to do the simplest thing (like looking at a map) without asking Jesus to do it for them, and of course ignorant (Is Pennsylvania a state? Is Washington D.C. in the state of Washington? Is Lake Pontchartrain a Great Lake?).
I'd be happy with anyone but the Weavers winning, although I still wish the Gaghans, the Aiellos, or the Blacks were still on so I'd have someone to actually cheer on. But that's the way TAR usually works for me -- by the end, I'm rooting against instead of for.
