Speaking of legitimate violence in professional wrestling...

Was that really an honest-to-God knife that Tank Abbott pulled on that one guy in WCW during a street fight match? If so, how was that incident resolved, and what was the aftermath?

Well...To answer your questions:

1. Yes. That was a knife.

2. The incident was resolved by it being a work. Though, S+P were not impressed by the angle, and yelled at Tank about it.

3. There was no aftermath, other than S+P getting on Tank's case. Russo wanted to make him champion. Does that count?

I only liked Tank during his pre-regulated UFC 'roid days. I was watching Samurai TV and they showed a Nitro with him bodyguarding 3 Count and right after Nitro they showed one of the first UFC PPV. Man, has he shrunk. There is no way he could compete in the UFC nowadays. Everyone has already learned how to deal with the raging bull style. Much more technical now then when Royce was amazing people in the states who didn't know a thing about grappling.

You know Tank. Ex-UFC barroom brawler. He was WCW's answear for Ken Shamrock. He went from calling out Ghostberg and one punch knockout to dancing with 3 Count all in 3 monthes.

Yeah, and Goldberg was Jobbed to a Limo Window. Which is worse, because the limo window is slightly more of an inanimate object than Arquette is.

Slightly.

Yeah, but a limo window has a defense mechanism, in that it's sharp. David Arquette's only real defense is threatening to have Courtney Cox beat you up.

I'll give David Arquette one thing and one thing only.

He gets to shag Courtney Cox whenever he wants, and I don't. Where's the justice in the universe?

Is that so? Sign me up.

Nah... I'd go with Leelee Sobieski over Courtney Cox myself.

Tank never recovered from the moment he tapped out to Sid's crossface in one of the biggest-hyped WCW Title matches Nitro had seen in a long time.
