The tag team match booked on Raw for the PPV pits the Dudleys vs Jindrak/Cade vs Venis/Storm vs Hurricane/Rosey wouldn't seem to be an overly inexperienced line-up (save for 1 team), but the amount of PPV time that 6 of these men have got recently is surprising.
Except for Royal Rumbles, I believe (and correct me if I am wrong) that this was the last time each of these wrestlers was on a PPV:
Venis: Wrestlemania 01 Storm: No Way Out 03 Hurricane: KOR 02 Rosey: Survivor Series 02 Jindrak: Never Cade: Never
The WWE has seemingly had little faith in these men to carry the weight of a PPV match. Consider Wrestlemania this year, when Venis(then Chief Morley) and Storm were relegated to heat for their title defence. It could be that there have not been the right opportunities but in fact, Hurricane has only had 3 non-rumble PPV matches and two of them were partnering Storm during the alliance - and who remembers that?
The one other explanation is that the WWE have just put a bunch of guys with no real major prospects together in the tag team ranks, but who knows? Maybe this will be the start of a return to the quality tag team ranks that we enjoyed in 2000.
What is this place, a wrestling forum or Cynics Anonymous?
Val was in the IC Battle Royal at Judgement day as was Storm. Storm/Venis was bumped off the WM card largely due to Regals illness meaning that they had to quickly sub in Venis (Morley call him what you will) at short notice, devaluing the match somewhat.
Hurricane and Rosey are bona-fide comedic filler but should serve a purpose, and Jindrak and Cade are both good prospects who have been getting a steady push lately, even flirting with main eventers briefly.
It does seem to have been thrwon together somewhat haphazardly but booked right over the next couple of weeks it should serve the purpose of showing depth in the tag ranks on RAW, while hopefully leading to a blow-off feud for WM.
You know, I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Regal.
Hurricane may be a comedy act, but he does any match justice. He's a skilled performer with a lot more time in this line of work than some realize (started in 91, I think). Plus, he beat the shit out of Buff Bagwell and then stole his finisher. That makes him okay in my book. Hurricane probably has more finishing moves than Buh Buh and D-Von put together. He'll fit right in. :)

I don't remember how long Val was in (sad b/c I was there live in person) but poor Storm--it doesn't seem fair to even count this as a PPV appearance....he was tossed out in less than a minute--breaking that traditional Storm 108 (for all you Stormtroopers out there)
And I miss Regal too...

If I have to lose to anyone, at least its to SOK...grr
Am I the only person who has noticed that ALL FOUR teams in this match are faces? I realize that Jindrak and Cade are in slow-burn-turning mode, but even assuming they get there before the PPV that's still a very unbalanced match. Strange.
Other than that, though, I don't have a problem with these teams carrying a PPV match. There's sufficient workrate there (led by Storm and Hurricane) and the Storm/Venis and Hurricane/Rosey teams both seem to be pretty over, and Natural Born Thrillers '03 are as over as you could expect at this stage without any serious gimmick.
I, for one, am not sad that we've lost Regal's ringwork. I find his style slow, plodding and intolerable. That said, he's remarkable on the stick and I'd love to see him in some form of authority role on SmackDown.

It's likely that the teams that were "fired" before the match was announced will end up in the match by the time it happens. That'd even it out at 3 heel teams and 3 face teams.
I miss Regal too. He is a brilliant yet completely stereotyped character but i'd like face Regal back preaching about manners again if he comes back. He played the baddie for too long and besides i don't think there is too much anti-British feeling in america at the moment so going back to Evil Regal would make no sense.
I also think he had a great heel turn hitting angle with the belt. It was sort of expected but i didn't think it would happen.
That was a long time ago wasn't it.
Kate Winset uses KY Jelly to lubricate someone in a film and not only that millions of ppl have seen it and its only a 12 certificate. Now that's just rude
Since this match was announced as a Tag Team Turmoil, which traditionally features 6 teams, and not a Fatal Four Way, I'm guessing the thought-to-be-fired Test & Steiner and La Resistance make their way into this match.
I think it's safe to assume that La Resistance and Test/Steiner will be added as an all-face match makes absolutely no sense. With that said, though, that makes only five matches...with what do you round out the card?

As of now we have:
HHH v Goldberg v Kane
Orton v RVD
Batista v Michaels
Booker v Mark Henry
Tag Team cluster fuck
That still leaves room for a womans title match, a match stemming from the Y2J angle, and Heat filler from Heidenreich and Stevie Richards. Or if you're really lucky a JR/Coach rematch for the announcers job.
