If they don't, it may imply that they're losing, but at least there's the possibility that they did retain (it was a singles match with Conway, so maybe the logic is that they just decided not to wear the belts). | BigSteve

My prediction was Benoit & Edge winning the titles and doing the whole 'Whacky Tag Partners who Hate Each Other' angle. However, that was before I knew of HBK's injury.

Perhaps they were worried about the tag belts being stolen so they left Vendetta in the backstage area with them.
Ah well...I know CRZ got that joke anywayz.
RORY: So, is this party Grandma's having going to be a big deal? LORELAI: Not really. The government will close that day. Flags will fly at half-mast. Barbra Streisand will give her final concert...again. RORY: Uh-huh. LORELAI: Now, the Pope has previous plans, but he's trying to get out of them. However, Elvis and Jim Morrison are coming and they're bringing chips.

| #6 Posted on 19.10.04 1839.33 | Instant Rating: 6.71 | The latest PWTorch.com is saying is that WWE wants to put Benoit into the title match with HHH whether he wins the voting or not (Shocking, I know!) and hide HBK's injury in the tag match with Edge. They are also saying that they may have Benoit go over HHH in the main causing the title switch to make the "fans pick the match" thing seem like a big deal.
Man, before this HBK injury, I wasn't too interested in getting this PPV. But now with Benoit possibly being in the main and maybe even winning the belt again....I may just have to order it.

Benoit/HHH with a title change makes sense if you buy the talk of an Orton/HHH WrestleMania title match. They can do a huge match at Survivor Series and hotshot the title back to HHH or drag it out. There's Survivor Series, New Year's Revolution & The Royal Rumble between now and Mania for RAW, so it makes sense to extend things.

| #8 Posted on 19.10.04 1922.39 | Instant Rating: 1.72 | If Benoit faces Triple H tonight, I have a good feeling it'll be because Triple H wants his "jobs" back...
But since I feel it'll be HBK...he'll lose to Triple H (with injury) and they may play angle to that effect...
