I guess he's supposed to look scary or intimidating. Anyway...

"First ever WWE interactive PPV event?"

I don't even want to know.

I wonder what it means where it says "First ever WWE interactive pay-per-view event, go to WWE.com." Other than that, blah.

1. Suggested captions:
- Jobbing Is Victory
- Fear Is Security
- Cheating Is Honor

2. That is just not attractive.

3. I mean, maybe it's because the image is of Triple H, but that poster is just a wonderful example of the sort of super-man iconography that we tend to associate with the worst cult of personality. Of course, that's probably the inspiration:

I must reiterate how much I HATE the name "Taboo Tuesday". It just seems to lack creativity. They've had a lot of problems with names lately, though. I guess the guy who thought up of all the cool sounding names got fired a few years ago, or something.

However, I would like to say that I DO like the No Mercy poster...

Taboo Tuesday poster - terrible

No Mercy poster - awesome

I don't know what's so cool-sounding about all those 80s metal ass names they were coming up with though. BADD BLOOD. VENGEANCE. NO MERCY. UNFORGIVEN. ARMAGEDDON. NO WAY OUT. JUDGMENT DAY. Did they need Judgment Day AND Armageddon? Granted, Taboo Tuesday does suck, but the best names are the silly ones: WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, Great American Bash. Those are names that still make me feel a little embarrassed to tell people I'm a wrestling fan, and damn, that's the way it should be.

The No Mercy poster almost salvages the JBL title reign .. . well no it doesn't. But it's still the coolest PPV poster in a while.

May I ask what the Unforgiven poster looks like?

And yes, Taboo Tuesday is an awful name with and awful poster. What was wrong with Halloween Havoc? That was a fun name, and they could have done a lot of wrestlecrap with that PPV to appeal to the younger fans who have been diminishing as a % of the total audience.

I am guessing the "interactive" part of the PPV will be from people going on wwe.com and clicking on different matches or type of matches. That would be kind of cool, but considering how they have to plan a match ahead of time, I dont see how they could just improv a match within minutes without it sucking big time. But it would be cool if the audience could pick stips for a World Title match. Have a selection of like: cage, first blood, strap, submission, falls count anywhere, etc to pick from. But, why do I have a feeling its gonna be some lame ass stunt that Vince thinks is funny ala XFL Cheerleader locker room cams.

Wow, so did I. That is kind of odd/scary/bizzare. And it's a good thing that the current or former world champions Orton or Benoit aren't on the poster. Don't want them being confused as the real star!

I thought it was Kane for a minute till I saw the nose.

Yeah the JBL Poster does rule. See had they built him up as a heel then No Mercy could of been his big moment...

Interactive PPV eh? I smell the mothballs, so that means The Wheel of Gimmicks is coming out of storage.

Could be a cool idea if we actually get to vote on matches.

I say they go old school and have good old fashion taped fist match or something.

Maybe they'll do the old thing they used to do in WCW, where they'll have a bunch of faces in one room, a bunch of heels in another room, and let fans call into a hotline (or vote on the internet, in this day-and-age) and vote who from each room should face each other. I seem to remember WCW doing that on old Saturday Nights in the early-90's.

Sure, it sound's like a shitty plan. But it's the best I can come up with!

Yeah that sounds resonable. It would also be like something WCW World Wide did where Mean Gene would pull an envelope out of a fishbowl and it would contain a match that the two people in the main event would be fighting in.

Vader took on Cactus Jack in a Texas Death Match one week.

Ron Simmons before he left to join the WWF had a street fight and he won by hitting the other guy with a wrench from what I remember.

Hey they have to do something to get us to give a shit about a PPV on a freaking Tuesday.

Two promo posters that look like that it can be done on anybody's adobe workshop. It's fingerpainting. One promo has Frankenstein himself, who's bi a lot of things but linguals not one of them.

The other is your resident WWE financial gee-whiz, who can shoot with both hands because he's bi-sexual (he said it, not me.)

And these are the two guys the E are trying to push as your intellectuals? Gimme a break.

I think I know what HHH is thinking in that poster:

"I specifically asked them NOT to put a screen door here..."

(EDIT: The tagline on the poster below would've made a helluva lyric for Cypress Hill. "Insane in the Pain Kane...")

They are holding a Ricky Morton Invitational in Tulsa on February 26th. Apparently it is a benefit for Morton. Does he have medical bills, or is he still in the pokey for failure to pay child support? For more info go to: www.yawnrecords.com
