They did the same thing a couple of weeks ago when they spoiled Wade Barrett beating Kofi for the Intercontinental Title at the New Year's Eve RAW taping.
Personally, it doesn't bother me, but I understand the main grievance people have, especially on Twitter: WWE tweets just blurt it out, don't give you the option of being un-spoiled and clicking a link to see the spoiler. Not just the WWE Twitter either, I saw Joey Styles and Howard Finkel do the same thing. Styles's tweet is comical. "SPOILER!" As if you somehow wouldn't read the rest of the tweet. (I can't embed that tweet since it has all the spoiler info blatantly spoiled.)
As for why WWE is doing this, the answer is also from Styles:
“... @wwe and @joeystyles spoil SmackDown because they'd rather you get the spoiler from them than a wrestling news site.” Bingo!
The solution to this problem, since WWE seems to be committed to this course of action, is to unfollow WWE or anything that has to do with WWE to stay "pure". Or stay off all WWE related social media altogether. Or stay off the Internet in general. Or just stop caring.

If they would have changed the title I would have rather them have Ziggler cash in the briefcase then a boring uncover ADR. There goes my prediction of Big Show holding the title until Wrestlemania and dropping it to Ryback there. It still could happen as Big Show could regain the World title at the Royal Rumble. Maybe I'm in the minority, but this does nothing for me.
Originally posted by Matt Tracker With Ziggler doing all he can on RAW, this improves his odds to take a world title. He should move to SmackDown immediately. Ricardo vs. AJ promos could be sensational.
I think Dolph technically is still a Smackdown guy. Isn't he? Why else would he have competed for the Smackdown MITB? Then again, who fucking knows? The brand extension is all but kaput. WWE.com doesn't even list which Superstars and Divas belong to which show anymore.

My guess is this opens the door for heel Ziggler to cash in on a face champion (even a newly-turned face like ADR) and win the title, perhaps setting up a rematch with Del Rio at Wrestlemania. Or, Ziggler announces he'll cash in at Mania itself and he and ADR square off under those circumstances. The proposed Ryback/Big Show match doesn't need the belt to happen, so my guess at the Mania card would be...
* Cena/Rock, WWE title * Punk/Undertaker, possibly for WWE title vs. Streak * HHH/Brock * Ziggler/Del Rio, World title * Ryback/Big Show * Sheamus/Orton
This still leaves lots of big acts like Hell No, the Shield, the Rhodes Scholars, Miz, Barrett, Kingston, Cesaro, etc. still to be inserted into matches, but that's a pretty good six-match block to start things off.

I was waiting to hear today that Big Show had gotten hurt or suspended, but so far nothing. Weird stuff after he goes over Sheamus clean twice, then loses the title on TV? It makes me think Big Bad is on the right track and they decided that neither Show/Ryback or Orton/Sheamus needed the title and they'd do Ziggler's run either soon or at Wrestlemania (which would fit with Cena/Ziggler possibly being blown off on Monday). So Del Rio wins now so as not to be overshadowed by Rock winning the title and the Rumble winner on the PPV.
Another bonus for the title changing hands; it's in Miami. Del Rio was definitely going to get a good reaction as a face there. Maybe they figured, like Bryan, what happens in Miami will spread elsewhere.
They DIDN'T EVEN TRY to announce the card for the PPV besides the two matches announced. Listen, I like Elimination Chamber matches a lot. I feel a weird bond with the match concept since I saw the first one live at MSG for Survivor Series 2002.
