The older one has a huge crush on Zack Ryder and about lost it when I showed her his entrance (followed by a BURNING hatred of Del Rio at the end of the match). She will repeatedly execute the "elbow of disdain" on the floor (making me think I'm watching Ric Flair). She'll also do the Cesaro 'arm cannons' and even has inquired to what Tensai is up to lately. We were at the recent Smackdown taping prior to Survivor Series, and they both cheered from start to finish, holding up the signs they had made. The younger lost it when Del Rio entered in his car. When Big Show entered, holding his title high, I looked over and saw my youngest holding her title belt up too. For Christmas my wife and I even managed to locate Zack Ryder and Santino action figures for them.

In other words, a new generation of wrestling fans has definitely been cultivated. I love the memories we have generated together over the last couple of months. As both of my girls now say, "In the words of Damien Sandow, 'You're Welcome.'"

This mirrors a lot of my own experience w/my kids. However, they usually only get to watch the shows on Sat/Sun mornings after I've either seen the shows or read about them here so I sort of know what to fast forward thru for either risque or boring reasons.

Indeed, I always pre-screen on Monday night, then we dole out matches from the DVR throughout the week. I always watch it with them.

Perhaps I'm the only one, but I loved Dolph on commentary. He had an easy rapport with both Cole and Lawler, and actually talked like a human being and not just like "wrestling heel". He needs to be on commentary more often.

I like the stories in this thread about a couple of you watching with their kids. That's pretty cool, and if the PG direction has brought us some dumb stuff, it has also made it easier for families to watch it together (or msot of it anyways).

Chavo Sr. still works. He had a good match with Juve in Kentucky last year if memory serves. Its wrestling, no one retires.
