The Time have finally dropped the bomb - they're no longer The Time. I'm sure somebody in some legal capacity had something to do with it but they're now known as THE ORIGINAL 7VEN. They also announced an upcoming album (which appears to be called "Condensate" - which is the punchline to a joke they've used in concerts for about 20 years) and the availability of a single on 9/20.
But I'm a little frightened... because it's called #Trendin (The W at Amazon) - which doesn't exactly scream out "timeless" so much as "we'll make fun of it in five years" which you never did with any Time tracks before - well, maybe "Donald Trump (Black Version)." Still, the first new stuff from the Magnificent Seven in 20 years? I'll take what I can get.

Will all their material eventually be reissued under the name The Wdouble-u? Because that would seem appropriate. B^)
