Now more than ever would be the perfect time for Foley to return. He would be the definition of fun that Punk is talking about. He could also play into the Rock/Cena feud. Stephanie on my TV is an instant fail.

Strange, I was expecting the stipulation for the new COO to be CM Punk, who could win it from Triple H, thereby giving him the power to make things "fun" again.
Natalya has the promo skills of a vegetable. I like candy.
It is NOT entertaining. I found myself yelling at the TV "there's a match going on!" during Punk/Truth.
I would rather go see that putrid looking "Bucky Larson" than listen to Cole make another barbecue sauce joke or call Lawler's jokes dated. Pointing out how bad the jokes are from a face Lawler only makes Lawler look bad and Cole look like a dick. It's a lose-lose. I much prefer Gorilla Monsoon's "Will you stop?" or "Give me a break!".
At least earlier in the year, Cole's jerkiness was building toward a match at Wrestlemania. Now, I don't get it.

Why the sudden adjustment?
WWE did that several months ago, not too long after Hogan joined TNA. They replaced his spot in the open with The Million Dollar Man's "Everyone's got a price!" soundbite and video snippet.
Even weirder, they also slipped Warrior in there at the same time...over part of Michael Cole's "Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is electric" line.

In a perfect world, Natalya and Beth would be faces (don't even get me going on that) for emphasizing skill, athleticism, and wrestling ability over models and uselessness.
Then again, in a perfect world, Kelly Kelly and the others wouldn't be in the ring ever but people like Sara Del Ray would.
I think that's what saddens me most about this. Not that Natalya was a strong promo person but she's more suited to the face role rather then the dominating "I'm gonna destroy this group" type of heel.

And a Barbie doll representing both Kelly Kelly and Rocco.
I should also follow up on my gimmick and note that "John Morrison has been eliminated!" as the first elimination in the eight man tag main event made me LOL.
An impending Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus rivalry intrigues me. WWE should have them meet in a match called The Troubles match.

Everyone is talking about how odd this Nash/Punk angle is, but isn't that always the case with anything Nash is involved in? When he feuded with the X-Division, it started out as him being a bully trying to destroy it, but ended with him "helping" them personalities. He always does this sort of thing.
If Punk turns out to be working with Vince/Ace/Nash, that's the end. Not saying it'll ruin his career forever, but it'll be like Orton's first face turn, something it takes years to recover from.
But here's something: what if Punk is helping SHANE? Who else would have more motive to go after Vince, HHH, and Stephanie. Plus you could easily point out that he was the McMahon who cared the most about making the fans happy with a video package of all his bumps.

Working in a group has been his pattern for a few years now. It's consistent with his full-on heel persona, but RAW really doesn't need another main-even heel.

It's like the movie except we're screwed and end up in limbo no matter what we do.

Man... but Ive only been regularly watching for a couple months! I just this week noticed Hogan missing though. Watzupwitdat?
Also Scotty, I'd wager Punk recovers from anything easier than Orton because of ridiculously superior mic skills.

... but you gain a main event heel with Helmsley. Not saying that is a good thing, but it is a WWE logic type of thing.
Last night was the worst night ever for people sitting in on commentary. JR and Michael Cole were going at to where it made the show unbearable. Lawler seems to only be able to point out the obviousness of everything and was useless. Natalya and Kelly Kelly need to never, ever have a live mic on them ever again. It was just terrible and it detracted from the show in every possible way.
As a Coleminer, I think he needs a vacation and he needs to reel it in some. I was embarrassed for him out there the way he just kept on and on after JR.
Originally posted by AlessandroSo let me get this straight ... Michael Cole calls Daniel Bryan a nerd all the time for no good reason (being a vegan, not owning a TV, etc.), but he makes fun of Jim Ross for NOT playing fantasy football?! Really? Is there any type of logic to that?
It's Michael Cole; there is no logic behind half his commentating.
I thought it was initially dumb to have Nash come back then be fired but this is what no DQ matches are for so that anyone can come in, make a statement and continue another part of the storyline. Though I will admit considering Nash has had a history of being one of the best people on the mic, I feel that the storyline between Punk and Nash has already grown stagnant and Nash has not helped.
And does anyone else think it's dumb that the story was that Nash texted himself from Triple H's phone to decide the winner? I seriously thought there would be more substance behind Nash attacking and powerbombing Punk at the previous PPV. Maybe my expectations are too high for where the WWE is now.
I think the expectations of the WWE doing something awesome was started by Punk being awesome. Unfortunately, Punk's awesomeness did not spread to the writing staff.

Could be...could be Nash and Triple H are in it together still and Nash texting himself was just the cover story to throw people off the trail.

He's been doing this for about three weeks now and no one has really made any mention of it. Last week he did Rocky's "Just Bring It" catchphrase complete with imitation hand gesture. I think it's just the E's subtle way of nudging viewers in the ribs and reminding them that Rock and Cena still have a match on the table for next year.
So did Morrison piss people off again? He had a good showing against ADR like 2 weeks ago and now he's off Raw or the 1st eliminated in a 800 man match, and it seemed rather quickly.

I assume you mean the midseason finale before they go on a break while they replay the entire series, starting for when they went off SyFy in season 3.

And legit overdue, instead of talking about how he had a YouTube show all the time SHOW IT so people will go "Fuck that was funny, I gotta watch!" because they weren't going to say "Well, if Michael Cole tells me to watch a jobber's YouTube show I guess I will!" Although they really missed the boat not showing Zack's dad obsessing over Morrison. Mr. Ryder=BUYS
Sad that they've pretty much killed off Punk, but Awesome Truth is amazing although I thought both teams would have a buffer feud before facing off for the title.
