It's hard to screw up a Comic-Con episode, so this really worked for me.
Then there's the Comic Book Guy cameo and...wait...a genuine Comic Book Guy cameo...complete with Simpsons-style animation...in a Seth MacFarlane show? BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! DOES NOT COMPUTE! HOLY CRAP, THE UNIVERSE IS COLLAPSING INTO ITSELF! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Oh, we're all still here? Well, ok then.
Just so much awesomeness here with Robert Rodriguez as the episode's villain and Junior dressed as a Na'vi. And of course, Robert Rodriguez getting back-up from Cheech Marin and Danny Trejo.
Cleveland: And Danny Trejo, I loved it when you raped that guy in American Me. Danny Trejo: That was Edward James Olmos. Cleveland: You raped Edward James Olmos? Shame on you! He taught those kids math! ¡No es bueno!
And thus, we've reached the end of Cleveland's second season. It's shown a lot of improvement from last year. Does it still have Family Guy humor? Yes, yes it does. But considering that Family Guy has barely had Family Guy humor this season, I consider that a plus. Best part of this season, though, is that they've been bringing in a much better supporting cast. Cleveland's friends are still idiots (aside from Tim the Bear), but I've been loving Freight Train Brown and Robert the ex-husband. And of course, I love that Carl Reiner has a recurring cameo, because he's a breath of fresh air. Overall, things have gotten better for The Cleveland Show and I'll be looking forward to season three.
After attending a recent big convention this year, I was totally with Junior. Expect trade out Twilight fans with anime fans. The MST3K outfit was great. I hope we see Rodriguez back again. The Comic book guy cameo was awesome. One of the better episodes of the season.
He gave more math to a fanbase that at its core are Math nerds, yay? I never saw Moneyball has a long term strategy. It works if you have a great draft and some good key players, but its not a plan I would ever use.
