He doesn't have to take any brutal risks like going through a table or having to plancha/shooting star press numerous bodies per week. Not only has he dodged being future endeavored, but he's still on the flagship every single week. I'd still rather be wrestling Punk, Ziggler, and the Harts on Smackdown, but this isn't so bad.

At the same time, though, it'd be nice if it was going ANYWHERE. Hasn't this been going since the beginning of the guest host era, if not earlier? It's REALLY run its course, and I thought after last week, they'd transition nicely into a Chavo/Bourne feud. If they're doing that, then why bother with the Hornswoggle humiliations? Everything's set up and should already be in motion. Just have Chavo kill Horny dead, Bourne comes out, Chavo beats him up too, and get on with the feud. This isn't the time to go all slow-burn on us, crank the heat up already.

I gotta say, I really don't understand this sort of logic. Chavo was at one time a wonderfully capable performer. I would never have made him the focal point of a promotion, but he was a talented guy and maybe still is. I could see this thinking applying for the sort of wrestler who didn't grow up in the business and sees it purely as a paycheck, and maybe doesn't take any particular pride in it, but Chavo? He's capable of so much more.

I assume Chavo has made a lot of money over the years. I mean, the guy has been employed by either WCW or WWE for over 12-13 straight years now! The poor guy just never could get out of Eddie's shadow. He has had his moments over the years, but most of them involved Eddie. Their many feud(s), tag teaming together, or cashing in on Eddie's death with a feud with Rey.
It would be sad if they just use him as a joke all this time and kill all of his credibility, then cut him because "the writers couldn't come up with anything for him".
