To be perfectly honest, I'd be more than happy to be in Chavo's role since he is probably making more money than I am at the moment.

Additionally, in Chavo's defense, it's probably only the "fans" who think that he's going through any sort of humiliation. He doesn't have to take any brutal risks like going through a table or having to plancha/shooting star press numerous bodies per week. Not only has he dodged being future endeavored, but he's still on the flagship every single week. I'd still rather be wrestling Punk, Ziggler, and the Harts on Smackdown, but this isn't so bad.

I was hoping for a Dusty Finish in the main event. I mean, he was RIGHT THERE. Alas.

At the same time, though, it'd be nice if it was going ANYWHERE. Hasn't this been going since the beginning of the guest host era, if not earlier? It's REALLY run its course, and I thought after last week, they'd transition nicely into a Chavo/Bourne feud. If they're doing that, then why bother with the Hornswoggle humiliations? Everything's set up and should already be in motion. Just have Chavo kill Horny dead, Bourne comes out, Chavo beats him up too, and get on with the feud. This isn't the time to go all slow-burn on us, crank the heat up already.

I gotta say, I really don't understand this sort of logic. Chavo was at one time a wonderfully capable performer. I would never have made him the focal point of a promotion, but he was a talented guy and maybe still is. I could see this thinking applying for the sort of wrestler who didn't grow up in the business and sees it purely as a paycheck, and maybe doesn't take any particular pride in it, but Chavo? He's capable of so much more.

Is he? He's talented, sure, but not earth-shatteringly so, and he's as devoid of charisma as anyone I've ever seen. I actually like the guy, but if he wasn't doing this, I doubt he'd be doing much of anything.

I assume Chavo has made a lot of money over the years. I mean, the guy has been employed by either WCW or WWE for over 12-13 straight years now! The poor guy just never could get out of Eddie's shadow. He has had his moments over the years, but most of them involved Eddie. Their many feud(s), tag teaming together, or cashing in on Eddie's death with a feud with Rey.

It would be sad if they just use him as a joke all this time and kill all of his credibility, then cut him because "the writers couldn't come up with anything for him".

I'm not saying not doing more with him is a crime against the wrestling Gods, or anything, but yeah, I think he can do better than jobbing to a midget.

Regarding next week, who thinks Barker is going to come out supporting Priceless, saying, "The Price Is Right, Bitch!"

Well, maybe not the bitch part.

I think they should hold a contest between Barker and Vince over who can commit the most acts of sexual harassment in the course of the broadcast. They can even claim it is educational program towards children, as it would teach them how to count into the thousands.

I want to see Barker and Vince reenact the fight scene from Happy Gilmore, with Vince playing Adam Sandler's role. Because I hate Vince.

With regards to the trap on John Cena, am I the only one that thinks it was a callback to the famous trap that Ole Anderson lured Dusty Rhodes into?

From Online World with Wrestling:
http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/profiles/o/ole-anderson.html

# Ole Anderson & Dusty Rhodes took on The Assassins in a cage match with Gene Anderson & Ivan Koloff as special guest referees..
# ~~~Ole & Gene BOTH turned on Dusty leaving him open to a 5-1 beating inside the cage!

The big difference is that when Ole turned he had been a face allied with Dusty for a year. His promo where he half gloats about tricking Dusty and half complains about how he had put up with Dusty for a year is a thing of beauty.

Ole later did something similar to Thunderbolt Patterson when he first teamed with Arn.

I don't see anyone has mentioned this but I thought the best part of RAW was it was finally not tape-delayed due to Tennis. Thank you ESPN.

Just a quick thought.

The 1985 angle with Flair and the Andersons turning on Dusty in the cage (building up Starrcade 85) is also a descendant of the orginal Ole Angle.

Also, great humor with Arn playing the role of Ole in the Shockmaster skit.

It had been flipped to CNBC the past few years when RAW went onto USA.

Welllll, Russo was aligned with Jarrett, so there's a clue. Of course, Russo didn't just sign with the NWA, so who knows. Just pass the gun.
