TK had been on vacation for 2 weeks prior to the entire show going on vacation. Interestingly though (at least to me), he didn't stop tweeting until the whole show went on vacation. Same with Reali: he stopped tweeting this weekend. I wonder how much of their tweeting is voluntary and/or out of pure personal interest and how much is mandated by their bosses.
Man, are people freaking out over this. I saw Tim Cowlishaw put a post on twitter about ATH being on vacation & now PTI has to do the same. Why all the gossip? They always take a break at some point during the dog days of summer.
I'm guessing it has something to do with having to watch 'Sportsnation' that's making them turn in horror. I don't blame them: a hour of Colin Cowherd on TV? UGH. The HHH-type push ESPN gives him is insane and I will never understand why. In fact, it's a testament to her awesomeness that Michelle Beadle has to deal with this jackass everyday and still is able to make the show even 1/10th as watchable as either ATH or PTI.
Ugh. No more PTI until August 31st. (Posted just in case this starts up again tomorrow and next week . . . )

Hello, search engine ninjas. Although this thread is a year old, it's still high up there for "PTI cancelled" and "why isn't PTI on" and so forth.
Since they HAVEN'T updated their ESPN web page, this year I'll refer you to Twitter (@PTIShow):
Just a reminder that ATH and PTI are off all week. We're back Monday the 26th. We stink.
Say...now that you're HERE, why not check out some of our other discussions? Maybe even register and add your own smartass reply to our growing brain trust? Yeah! What better way to spend your time now that you know PTI won't be on the rest of the week! Woo hoo!
The W™ message board: you SAY you love us (but we know you don't)
Why don't all these people who are wondering why PTI isn't on ever catch the part of PTI where they say "We're off all next week!"? Or does that part air later during SportCenter, and so people stopped watching? I don't actually catch the show live. Or on ESPN.
You think by now after three or four straight years that everyone would know automatically that PTI (as well as ATH) takes off around this time of year. Maybe it's has something to do with Korny being off 2 weeks before the rest of the show this year.
I still stand by my statement from last year that if not for Michelle Beadle, Sportnation would suck major balls. Next week can't come soon enough.

Ah, but:

So TK's extended vacay is nothing new. I think people just forget because they aren't necessarily watching PTI five times a week, every week, year in and year out.
I agree, however, with everyone who says SportsNation is not an adequate substitute for PTI. Not even close, really. I've decided instead to get acquainted with the PodCenter on ESPN.com for my daily sports talk fix.

Despite Beadle being amazingly cute, I *still* can't watch this show because of the involvement of Colin Cowshit. Just. Can't. Do. It. Bleh.

Cowherd is a shock jock, nothing more and nothing less. He is also an elitist in every sense of the word. I think he makes for ok radio, but terrible TV. I also can't stand shows where its all about online voting. Beadle is cute, but not that hot, she is a girl next door type which fits with the every man aspect of the show. Sadly and fortunately, ESPN is not known to cancel too many shows, Sports Reporters has been on since almost day one and ever since Dick Schaap died that show has been terrible.

They mentioned it twice, once before Happy Time and again at the end of the show last Friday. If people are making these searches, they clearly aren't paying attention.
Or they weren't watching, which is entirely possible, considering both Bob Ryan and Dan LeBatard were filling in, which as big a double dose of suck that you'll ever see.

Not if you remember the time they had TJ Simers and Bill Plashcke guest host.
Barf. Easily my least favorite regular ESPN personality. That alone would probably make it my least favorite episode of PTI ever.
I saw a clip during the Ricky Williams 30 for 30 special where Skip Bayless was on PTI debating someone else who I didn't recognize. He seemed so... calm!
This was pretty fun! Not a huge amount of big laffs, but it was an amusing story and it felt like it will improve with repeated viewings as if it was some kind of Coen brothers movie or something. Fine acting by all involved.
