| #41 Posted on 25.5.07 2206.45 | Instant Rating: 6.80 | Originally posted by Spaceman Spiff I was thinking the car-crash woman was Claire, based off Jack's insistency on performing the surgery & being kept informed of her condition, as well as his nod to the kid.
The whole scene could be misdirection, but I thought Jack was nodding to the kid since he saved him from the crash. Also, I thought Jack was so determined to do the surgery because he was trying to recapture his glory days of performing miracles, like on Sarah. (the injuries were similar, right?)
Did anyone else notice that when Jack is crossing the street to the funeral home and almost gets hit by a car, a cop car then passes right behind Jack without stopping him? Jack was clearing jaywalking and nothing comes of it. I wonder if that's supposed to be significant...

I had read about the anagram on the funeral parlor, but not the last name of the woman he saved on the bridge having the same last name as Bernard. | Mr Shh

| #46 Posted on 31.1.08 1255.58 | What caught my attention was the pop-up talking about fate vs. coincidence as it relates to Charlie - the musician - having to break the code based on a Beach Boys song.
All of the talk about fate, coincidence, destiny, etc. is really starting to bug me. When you start exploring the notion that all of these people were handpicked (especially after watching mobisode #13) you will inevitably run into a dead end. This is because the crash of 815 was an absolute *accident* caused solely by Desmond (this is part of the show's official canon). | CRZ

I think you might have read that wrong. The doctor who performed the surgery on the woman had Bernard's last name, not the woman.

Or was it? Remember that Desmond was late pushing the buttons because Kelvin chose the preceding 108 minute cycle to (conspicuously) leave. From Desmond's perspective, it was an accident he didn't push the buttons, but he may well have been coerced into that situation.

| #49 Posted on 1.2.08 1104.47 | I heard that on the Wednesday re-broadcast they re-dubbed the guy from the freighters voice. Probably to make it fit the actual actor playing his character. Was this noted on the show at all? | | Pages: Prev 1 2 3
