You could always kill the dragon after being eaten. You still died though.

I hated that damn bat.

I had to download an emulated version of this. My kids didn't believe me when I told them that I had played video games so old that your "character" was a square.

They loved the game by the way...once they stopped laughing.

Holy Flashback!

I used to play that game on my Atari 2600.

There were different color castles and dragons, which made it challenging for me as I played on my black-and-white TV.

Ah, memories.....

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! I also had a major flashback. Whenever I went to visit my cousins in Apple Valley (aka "Big City" Twin Cities suburb to this 'ol farm boy), I used to LOVE playing this game. We never bought it. I may have to go out and add this to my Atari collection. My original 2600 still works fine and I still have 34 of my original games, boxes and manuals.

Yeah, I'm a geek.

I had to play it through the "difficult" level to show my kids one of the first ever easter eggs in a game.

Actually, I thought the original version was "Adventur" - because only 8 characters in a Dos name.

seems like I played that on a PC at some point.

I am reminded that Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend in most of Europe, ENDS in Australia and North America waits until next weekend. Since our server runs on Central time, we won't turn our clock ahead an hour until the third of April.
