Mmmm...beeeeer! I actually liked Bud Ice on a Sunday Beach Day, but I'm liking the Select much more. From the ones in the pic, if I had to choose one...Beck's the winner!

I cannot for the life of me stand the taste of beer, and I just don't understand how it's so popular (besides the content, and there are other ways... mmmmm gin).

Me neither. Beer is just one of those acquired tastes that I could never acquire. And dont think I havent tried.
Thirded.
I love drinking, and my liver and I are just beginning to get back on speaking terms these days. But damn, beer just tastes awful to me. Give me a good bottle of wine or some good vodka or tequila or something.
I don't mind the malt drinks that they sell with the beer (Bacardi O3, Smirnoff Ice, etc.) though.
I love beer and I can't find a single redeeming quality in any kind of wine outside of the pink stuff in the box which tastes like slightly alcoholic Kool-aid.
Give me a cask conditioned pint of smoked porter or imperial stout and a glass of the best wine in the world, and I'll pick the liquid bread every time.
Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her. Harry: That's a special feeling.

Agreed on the beer. Not a big fan of gin either. I really don't/can't drink much anymore (even one drink leaves me feeling gross these days), but when I drank, I went straight for the tequila. It was horrible but I never seemed to mind.

Minnesota State Fair time for CRZ? Are we about to see some posts about what you ate this year?
Stay away from the Fried Pepsi. I tried it this year at the San Diego County Fair. It wasn't gross or anything....It just wasn't worth the money. It was basically similar to funnel cake with Pepsi syrup poured on it (but not enough). Can't wait to see the gross fair type concoctions that you try though!

Now announcing for the NBWA! www.wdws.com home of DWS Sportsnight and downstate radio home of thecubsfan!
We attended the Union Fair yesterday and rode the rides and saw Winn's Galaxy of Thrills again. I still can't believe this woman climbs 127 feet in the air on a pole with no harness or net.
As for the food, they didn't have many new fangled things, though we did like the potato chip string. They take one whole potato and cut it so it comes out in a huge accordion like shape and deep fry it. Little salt and vinegar and it's awesome.
CRZ had to edit my profile and close my table for me. I am a bad man.
