There was a big to-do on facebook where a photoshopped image showing the time of June 27, 2012 was going around. It appears to have been started by a company called Simply Tap, and gained traction when George Takei reposted it (without any credit to the people he stole it from, incidentally) with the caption "We are now a day AFTER the future". As of this moment, 82,843 people have "liked" Takei's image.

I would love to say it's a loving tribute to Canada Day showing how long it takes to get out of the country back into the States, but I wasn't thinking that far ahead. It's just a California highway image picked at random.

This was Eilean Donan Castle (files.myopera.com), if you believe the filename of the graphic. (I cleverly cut around the main focus of the photo, which was the rainbow.)
