I knew as soon as I saw this thread title that Crime Library was going to pop up. THAT site is pure evil. It's robbed me of entire nights with just a small number of articles.

Of course, I got sucked into reading this damned thing, but I couldn't go any further after this guy talked about embedding dozens of needles into his taint. Goodness.

I've spent many a night reading stuff on this site myself, then I usually can't fall asleep after reading about the evil these men do.

Nancy Grace

It's been years since I read, or saw, anything about Albert Fish, so I figured I'd refresh my memory. Good story, but they break the damn thing up with a billion ads. But okay. It's the Internet.

My questions - why is Nancy Grace in every one of these fucking ads? Why is she on TV? And writing books? And why do I have to be reminded of it every two seconds? She's even less correct about ANYTHING than even the worst hacks, LOUD, and with all due respect - even Greta shelled out the $$$ ($$$?) to look halfway human. Good Lord

Ignorance is not innocence. If a guy doesn't know there's a baby on the road in front of him, and he runs the baby over, he still ran the baby over. Even the guy'll have a tough time thinking of himself as innocent for years to come due to the weight of his own conscience. Unless he's evil. As such, is a lack of conscience the epitome of evil? Yes. It's the ability to perpetrate cruel, harmful, and sometimes lethal acts upon any given persons, places, or things, and walk away guilt free.

That being said, I find it a little hard to believe that anyone can be absolved due to insanity. Are all insane people evil? No. In fact, since nobody's the same, and everybody thinks at their own wavelength, sanity can get a little fuzzy sometimes. I think it's crazy to eat french fries with mayonaise, to cheer for the Boston Red Sox, or the Dallas Cowboys, or to murder a guy for wearing a silly hat. I don't think that fries with mayo nor rooting for the Cowboys are evil, though. And if the guy you murdered was wearing a Boston hat, I might see past it. Maybe. Oddly enough, the New York Yankees are often called the 'Evil Empire', though Torre, Jeter, and Sheffield don't really come out in the same breath as Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Osama Bin-Laden, Terry Nichols, Ted Kaszinsky, Charles Manson, Ronald Reagan, Lex Luthor, Dr. Claw, or Fozzie Bear.

I've heard somewhere that the greatest evil the devil ever did was convince the world he didn't exist. On that note, I'll venture to say the most evil man of the past 100 years went completely unnoticed while everybody was busy paying attention to something else. No conspiracy theories, just a hunch.

Hold nothing sacred and you'll never be dissapointed. Especially not this statement.

A small island off the western coast of Ireland with a thatched roof cottage, an endless supply of peat for the fire, cases of good whiskey, and all the books to read I haven't gotten to yet.
