Makes me want to spend some money.
Then don't go by K-Mart 'cause you'll lose all your dough. Thanks to working there over a few winters, that's all that comes to mind when I hear those songs.

Smith Christmas Album Oakridge Brothers Christmas Album Michael Card Christmas Album Statler Brothers Christmas Album
Almost A Full Moon (The W at Amazon) by Hawksley Workman. Not particularly traditional (except for Silent Night), but wonderful and heartwarming and a bit weird. Songs about family and food and snow and some fine quality paper.
Low's Xmas album is awesome and should be a holiday standard for years to come.
"First Noel" - Emmylou Harris "Last Christmas" - Jimmy Eat World "Sweet Secret Peace" - Neil Finn "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" - BNL & Sarah McLachlan "Have Yourself a Merry Little Xmas" - Judy Garland "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)" - TransSiberian Orchestra "Christmas at Ground Zero" - Weird Al
edit: Good god how did I forget "Fairytale of New York", the best Xmas song ever ever ever? I will say, while of course the Pogues are the version to keep, there's a very good version by Andy Lang and Karine Polwart on a compilation called "Cold Blow these Winter Winds" which does good justice to the original.
For me, it begins and ends with "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth" by Bing Crosby and David Bowie. The moment Bowie starts harmonizing the "Peace on Earth" lyrics may be the most beautiful moment in any song ever.
I've long been of the belief that they need to rerecord this track with Bowie singing the Bing Crosby part and someone very much of the newer generation taking his. (Andre 3000 perhaps? Someone who's just as big of a leap from David Bowie as Bowie was from Bing Crosby).
"That's my problem - I'm too frank. That's why my mother shoved me down the stairs. But then she is fat."

and I too enjoy the previously mentioned "Christmas at Ground Zero" and "The Night Santa Went Crazy"
'But if one is struck by me only a little, that is far different, the stroke is a sharp thing and suddenly lays him lifeless, and that man's wife goes with cheeks torn in lamentation, and his children are fatherless, while he, staining the soil with his red blood, rots away, and there are more birds than women swarming about him.' "The Twelve Days Of Christmas" by Alan Sherman "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas" by Gayla Peevy "Santa Claus & His Old Lady" by Cheech & Chong "12 Days of Christmas" by The McKenzie Brothers "Christmas Is A Time To Say I Love You" by Billy Squier
Oh...and "I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus" by Kip Adotta is freaking hilarious.
