Holding steady in the $3.50 range despite the constant yelps from the local talk-radio people about the "highest gas taxes in the southeast/east/nation/planet/multiverse."

$4.19 still here in the town I work at. I live 20 minutes north of here, and the price there is $4.16. If I go 8 miles north of there, it is $3.99. Guess where I'm going to fill the 28 gallon tank on the almost empty Suburban tonight before we leave for the cabin up north tomorrow? Kiss that $111.00 goodbye!
Ok, so our gas price went up from $3.89 to $4.15, and then to $4.29. The story they are peddling is that there are refinery problems in the Midwest, which is causing the increase. My question is, is Michigan the only one seeing this type of spike, or are the people in Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinois seeing this as well?

It's holding in the $4.05 - $4.15 range here in the Northern suburbs of Chicago. Though last week I filled up at $3.85, so I'm feeling good about myself right now.
On a side note, our Fred Meyer added a gas station a few months ago at an intersection where there was already a 76 (in the Fred Meyer parking lot) and a Chevron across the street. Apparently the 76 is price-matching the Fred Meyer because they were both at $2.969 yesterday. Meanwhile, directly across the street was the Chevron with 12 empty pumps, thanks to their gas being $3.259!

They used to sell JR's sauce at Zellers stores in Canada. Bought a bottle once. It was actually pretty good, not that I know the slightest thing about authentic BBQ. I normally just buy the Kraft Chick'n'rib sauce, or maybe Bullseye.
