Jeez, we must be the worst in the country. Regular is $2.849 as we speak, and since it hasn't gone up in a few days, it's probably due today.

$2.89 around here, but a lot of places have actually broken the $3 mark. After that little bit of relief, we're right back where we started.

It has been between $0.75 and $0.90 per liter (about $2.80 per gallon) here in Phnom Penh for many months now. I keep waiting for it to go back up into the $4 to $5 per gallon range, but it hasn't yet.

It's now $3.69 for regular, around $3.89 for premium. We're hearing that by mid-summer, it will likely be $5 a gallon. Yikes.

So is all of this mostly because what's going on in Libya?

Just paid $3.89 for regular, and premium was at $4.09. I may go the exorbitantly expensive station in town to check their prices.

The story I heard is that China imports the majority of its oil from Libya. Now that Libya is unstable, China is dipping into the oil markets we use, and that increased demand jacks up the price.

Somewhere just over $4/gallon in Glastonbury, so I'd hate to see some of the more ridiculous corners of CT, like Stamford. I paid $3.56/gallon at the cheapest station I could find in Cromwell, personally.
