Originally posted by SchippeWreckI normally stick to Chevron, since that's where we have a credit card. (Dumb, I know, since we're paying for gas AND finance charges.) The cheapest Chevron in Glendale had regular for $2.71. The expensive one, just off the freeway, had regular priced at $2.85, with premium going for $3.05. Even the "cheap" stations, like Arco, are hovering around the $2.70 mark. That was 3 days ago, though. I should go out and check again today.
And I just bought a new car with a bigger tank, but at least it gets better mileage.
From what I saw yesterday/today, the cheapest at Arco is about $2.75 off the freeway and $2.73 near school. Shell is actually cheaper than Arco right now by a few cents. I've been told Shell's gas burns faster though. I don't know the validity behind that claim, since i've yet to actually look up any tests that proved it.
Last week Discount Zone in N.O the gas was $2.33 a gallon for the cheap gas. It sold out quick. This week the cheap Gas skyrocketing to $2.65 a gallon.

Mac's by my house had 100.4 cents last night, and Calgary's Finest Daily Newspaper (the Herald) reports that it's mostly 103.4 city-wide.
Yeah, I saw the paper, and then when I saw 98.9 cents/litre (minus the 3.5 cent discount) on my way to work, I figured I'd better fill while the filling is good.
On the 45 minue bus ride to work....funny enough, it's cheaper to buy gas in downtown Hamilton than it is in the outskirts of town.
Downtown at the local Sunoco: 95.3 a litre.
Stoney Creek, at a Petro Canada: 102.6 a litre
Thank goodness I don't drive...but I think the Greyhound fare I'm picking up to go back to Alberta in October may be more expensive because of the fuel prices.
I've seen the following movies this year:
Coach Carter; Star Wars III; Batman Begins; Fantastic Four
It was $2.299 here last Wednesday. It was $2.499 when I filled up today. Here being near Harrisburg, PA, which, of course, is redundant since my pin mark is on The W...orld.
We've been sitting around the $A1.15-1.20/L for a while. +0.10 for premium. (ACT)
For the English guy, your price is pretty good. I though you guys were up over a poond per litre for a while
I use dial-up mode, but I won't be able to remember what day I was WOTD every time I see one of my posts and I can't ask the boss because *he* won't tell me. ;)
Prices are between $2.60 and $2.80 here in Los Angeles.
The prices drop rather dramatically depending on the station. Chevron and Shell range in the $2.70's while 76 and Arco stations drop to the low $2.60's. Mobil...forget about it.
Just yesterday, on the way home at 5PM, it was $2.55. Later that night, after my daughter's back to school meeting, it went up to $2.75! But when I filled my car this morning, there was a Meijer's store selling for $2.65, but I only paid $2.62 since they give out $.03/gal discount coupons if you buy groceries, etc at the "big store".
Around this part of central NJ, it looks like it stopped going up daily, at least for the last week. At one end of the block its $2.59, and $2.53 at the other. Near the Lincoln Tunnel in NYC the other day, I noticed it was $2.89, and $3.09 for premium...

A Motorola i560 from Nextel. My mother works at Nextel (now owned by Sprint) and I got the phone for free and a more-than-fair rate plan, too. So what the heck.
