X-E's co-Worst Poster of all time! JKyle.com says:

I'd wager anyone who's taken Lita's "Hurricarana" would tell you it's pronounced dumbass.

I agree that the "married to Kane on TV" line was stupid. Not close to Russo, that WAS Russo. The bad Russo too, not the good Russo.

That line alone confuses continuity to Pre-Crisis levels. And to answer someone's question from earlier, that makes Snitsky's involvement... well... Snitsky is Hawkman now. We'll need Geoff Johns to tell us what's real.

Rob Conway's theme made me think they sacked Jim Johnston for Randy Newman.

I think you guys underestimate the audience's ability suspend disbelief. Or perhaps overestimate how much they care about continuity.

In a business where feuds that were given 1/4 of the program two weeks ago arn't even mentioned this week, or where a star has a high profile match and gets fired two days later and isn't even mentioned... matt hardy saying lita was "married to kane on tv" deal is no big deal.

Put this into perspective... Mae young gave birth to a hand. A plastic hand. This whole kane/edge/lita/matt break in continuity will be forgotten and brushed under the rug in less than 6 months. Edge will be challenging for the championship at wrestlemania, Kane will be terrorizing someone or other (draw the name out of a hat really), lita will be out on the injured list again (she either hurts others or herself), and matt will be wrestling on heat going "wtf happened? Where did I drop the ball?"

People want to be on TV, so they're going to make signs that will get them on TV.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did a two man TLC match for the payoff down the line. While this feud's done wonders for Matt Hardy's career, it's totally derailed Edge's. I think you can kiss any chance of him being WWE champ anytime soon goodbye (so maybe Matt really DOES get some revenge out of this!).

    Derailed Edge? How so?
The guy is receiving a tremendous amount of heel heat now. Earlier he was booed in his hometown while being the face. The Mr. Money in the Bank gimmick was going to get stale fast. Add-on Lita and this whole "scandal" and you've got yourself a top heel in the company.

On the other hand, I do agree with everyone else that it has totally derailed Kane. Matt's "Kane & Lita were just a TV thing" remark was really unnecessary. First we're told the guy can actually speak, then he's not actually burned, now this "thing" with Lita he's been doing for the past year was all fake as well. I wouldn't be shocked if next week Lillian announces him as "Glen Jacobs from Knoxville, Tennessee."

Perhaps "totally derailed" was an exaggeration, but I think it's definitely hurt. Before the Lita storyline, Edge's character was all about how he'd been screwed and how he was going to win the title, hell or high water. Now his character is about making out with his girlfriend and being stalked by her psycho exes. I like Edge, and I think eventually he will get a run at the title. But I think the timetable for it's been pushed back from "rather soon" to "indefinite".

I guess the Kane stuff doesn't bother me as much because Kane has become essentially the black hole of continuity. Nothing about his character has made sense for years. But the fans forgive it because they like the pyro and they like to see him destroy people. I mean, Jim Ross has been cheering for the guy. Jim Ross, the guy Kane once SET ON FIRE. He could start wearing the mask again and stop talking, and it would take about a week before everyone just threw up their hands, shrugged and moved on. That's just Kane. And I don't think it really hurts his career because I don't think he's ever going to be a real contender again. He's going to be a steady upper midcarder, always fairly over, but never so rabidly popular that the fans demand he get the title. Which is the role he's best suited for anyway. After everything he's already been through, from the insane asylum to Katie Vick, I think this is a fairly small mark on Kane's record.

WWE.com has it up, I think.

And re: Kane, all he has to do to win me over, and make me forgive all the consistency issues, is do that laugh. He's got the best evil laugh going today. I thirst for a scene where he and Ted Dibiase, after causing some kind of harm, both do the laugh, and compete for volume and "evilness".

Yes, there was a VERY noticeable shit, but I didn't catch it on the 1st viewing. It helps that he nailed Cena with the corner of the ludicrously expensive Anton Bauer designer battery brick.

I wish the WWE would allow people to view the videos on their site using external viewers. For some reason (probably because I'm on dialup) I can't view the Shawn Michaels "Larry King Live" interview.

I've tried to get around it (by going through the page's source and using the URL of the file in Media Player) but I'm not finding any success.

I've seen the following movies this year:

Yeah, I was thinking about that the last time Kane was on RAW and Ross was cheering for him. I keep half-expecting Lawler or Coach to bring it up, but I fear they never will. It'd be hilarity to see Ross trying to weasel out of it.

They sort of mention it every once in awhile, in passing. Ross will say something like "We may not have seen eye-to-eye on everything in the past, but kane doesn't deserve this, by gawd." King might say something like "You and kane have had your troubles in the past, right JR?"

It's kinda funny, Ross has the same "legitimate excuse for any wrongdoing by any heel ever" that the great bobby heenan had, but ross actually does it for the faces. It's sort of ammusing now that the king doesn't have to forever play the heel commentator, since that roll is filled by th coach. you've got your heel comentator coach, your face comentator JR, and your tweener king who is actually allowed to make some intelligent, relevant, and insightful comments... except of course he's the king and thus is mostly incapible of doing so because he's blinded by puppies (thank god someone finally told him to cut back on that).

I've only done 19 but still 20 feels like I've been doing this for too long. WHAT WORKED: -Sabin/Dutt v. Aries/Strong was pretty good. Not as good as the Naturals match from last week but still surprisingly good. Dutt looked absolutely awful in this.
