Linda Miles is the latest one to get the ax. Not a big shock considering she totally pissed off Cornett down in OVW and was supposedly blowing off shows.
How did she piss off Jimbo?

I've heard from several sources that there is again a ton of heat on Linda Miles, who worked as Shaniqua while on the Smackdown brand, as she's missed several training sessions and Ohio Valley Wrestling house shows. Miles has had a history of attitude issues since she was sent back down the OVW. Miles' profile is actually off the OVW website, so that gives you an idea of how high Jim Cornette must be on her. With the rash of WWE releases, now probably isn't the wisest time to play games with the company, especially when there is a long line of developmental talent making less than her that are breaking their backs trying to make it to the main roster.

| #104 Posted on 12.11.04 1452.56 | Instant Rating: 9.25 | She rarely had matches in OVW to begin with (Jackie Gayda appeared more often than Linda), and when she came back they tried to start a program with her as a "Chyna-like" female wrestler who would refuse to wrestle any of the woman and only wrestled the men. That led to probably her biggest match since coming back, when she wrestled referee Chris Kay (some of you may remember him as the hyper ref seen briefly in WWE this past summer).
She made some minor appearances recently in OVW. Just a few weeks ago she had a match against Alexis Laree where she fouled up a move and nearly droped Alexis on her head. She never was much better than Jackie and where Jackie at least has developed a personality to make her a decent diva (probably thanks to Rico there), Linda never had much of a personality to work with.
I can remember many times where people would be standing in line outside the Davis Arena for the Wednesday taping, and while you would see refs, announcers, and wrestlers coming into the building, the only person regularly leaving before the show was Linda. From what I've heard from people around OVW she was not very popular with anyone working there.
