I thought I'd just throw this back in here, because it doesn't really warrant a thread of its own.
I have no idea how the Bengals manage to win anything. While I am undefeated in my first four regular season games, none of those wins have come easy. Apparently, there are two things at which the Bengals truly excel: Dropping passes, and missing tackles.
Against the Browns, Carson Palmer has thrown five touchdowns (the Browns secondary is injured and was never much good to begin with), but every pass that doesn't go for thirty yards is either batted down or dropped. And these aren't hard passes to catch. These are 'Hit me in the numbers and no one is covering me' passes. And STILL they drop.
On the other side of the ball Jamal White (Green was injured) rumbled off a 74 yard touchdown on the first play thanks to one broken tackle, three missed tackles, and safeties who aren't fast enough to catch him. The sad thing is that on the next offensive set, he almost did it again, and he managed to pick up 130 yards on just two plays. ARGH.
Okay, just had to vent. Man I can't wait until the offseason, when I can pick up some quality players!
The nice thing is, after White ran for a touchdown, and then ran down to the Bengals nine, the Browns threw three passes in a row (all defenced) and were forced to kick a field goal.

After playing for seven hours straight (and getting my ass handed to me for half the time) I have to say Rome: Total War has to be one of the greatest games ever. Commanding the Roman legions and slaughtering entire villages..it's all possible.
