My favourite arena is probably the Anaheim pond in California, if it returned there I would be happy.

I wouldn't bring it to UK because of those reasons as well, except the attendance for Passport To Pain reason. A.) Those were house shows, which won't garner 1/10 of the interest that WrestleMania would get. B.) I'm sure those attendances were still better than what they're drawing in the US for house shows (usually in the 2,000-3,000 range). Still, however, I probably wouldn't do a PPV (especially WrestleMania) outside of North America, strictly due to the time differences.

Personally, I prefer a huge stadium show for 'Mania, as it gives it more of a special feeling. But, to each his own. I remember Jeff Hardy on the Hardyz disc saying he wasn't too thrilled with the AstroDome show because of the same reason you said.

I was never too crazy about the Anaheim crowd. The arena isn't anything special, and neither were the crowd. Who could forget thousands of people filing out of the arena in the middle of the WrestleMania XII main event?

I believe the Tropicana Field idea was killed because the WWE could not create an arena configuration there that wouldn't create 5 minute entrances, and apparently they didn't want to return to the little carts.

I like the little carts.

Have they used the little carts since WM3? Seems like they have, but I can't recall where.

I believe they used the carts at WM6. Mostly so Andre wouldn't get gassed walking to the ring.

I have heard rumors flying around the Toronto area that Summerslam 2004 will be in Toronto and that it is a HUGE possibility that Wrestlemania 25 will be in Toronto as it is the WWE's home away from home and 2nd biggest wrestling city in the world and it gets a hell of a lot more seats than New York as we can afford to buy a dome. And not have to spend all of our money on a new World Trade Centre.

I dunno about WrestleMania XXI, but perhaps SummerSlam 2004 or 2005...

...how about Lambeau Field? Just cover up the not-yet-frozen tundra and you're good to go!

Jeff said that? I remember everyone saying that was one of the best WMs ever partially because of the atmosphere at the Astrodome. That place was electric the entire night.

The crowd at Wrestlemania X8 in Toronto was not dead. I was there and I lost my voice during the Hogan match. I think the reason why it was dead after wards was because everyone else lost their voices too! Wrestlemania X8 had the best crowd ever for any Wrestlemania with the exception of maybe Wrestlemania 6!

I have to disagree, ironically, to me the best crowd for a Wrestlemania was WM VII. They never shut up. Hopefully, Wrestlemania XXI comes back to Chicago because as JR said, Chicago has the best crowd response out of any wrestling town.

SummerSlam 2004 will be in Toronto, but at the Air Canada Centre and not the Skydome.

A few years ago they managed to get 45000 fans in for a RAW is WAR at the Skydome, now they can't even sellout the ACC for a RAW. Oh how times have changed.

I heard the big reason why Summerslam was coming to Toronto was so the WWE could have a big event in a stadium that seats more than 20,000 people. I see the WWE selling out Skydome for Summerslam. Either way Im buying $400 tickets and sitting in the first 5 rows!

What better towns to come to than Calgary or Edmonton? We have the hottest crowds around!

Well the Superdome did bid for WM18 and the WWE had a hissy fit that they have to rent trailers because the loading dock and the locker rooms/offices are on opposite sides (Well not really) of the Dome. I think it was Toronto that got WM18. I heard some talk the last time Smackdown came here and during the Cable Convention that the WWE may consider coming to the SuperDome for a WM because of the convention space and large quantity of Hotel rooms.

How about the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis? Check out this seating configuration (ticketmaster.com). I searched for past wrestling events there, and the only thing I could find was Slamboree 99 (when it was the TWA Dome). Anybody remember that? The seating wasn't set up the way they have it at Ticketmaster, was it?

I think they need to have it here in Milwaukee, WI. We have only had a couple of PPVs here, King of the ring in 96 and No Way Out in 2002. WWE is here on the 18th, which is a Sunday, so we (I HOPE) are next in line for a PPV instead of a Raw or Smackdown!. If we do get WM XXI here they would have to have it at Miller Park. The Stadium is HUGE and would be great to have a PPV at.

I did hear that the three finalists for WM19 were Safeco, Tropicana, and Miller, so WWE may consider doing a big event in Miller Park.

Yeah, that looks like Slamboree's configuration. That was before WCW went to WWF-like PPV sets (they just had the giant PPV logo and a big screen just off camera) so they curtained off half the dome and wrestlers just entered through the curtain under the logo.

Exactly one year later they came back for Nitro, and the configuration was completely different: the hard camera was moved by the curtain so you couldn't see that they only had, oh, seven-to-ten rows of seats on that side of the ring. It was pathetic seeing such a small crowd for wrestling in Mound City, but that was 2000-era WCW for you.

Yes, the Ed beckons to have its wrestling back. WM XXI would be a right dandy prize.

This must be the same park the Brewers/Bud can't pay the bills on?

You know what would be cool if they did it(WM) in someone's backyard. Make it a contest?

YOUR Out-Of-Context Quote of Whenever (thanks, MoeGates!): "I wish MY countrymen weren't so uptight about stuff like outdoor marajuana use and casual man-on-man anal love."
You know... since WM10 and 20 were in NYC... and WM11 was in Hartford... (hint hint wink wink nudge nudge)

Who knows... they might only be able to fill the Civic Center by then. Or more likely, they'd be bigger. We've got a year to go.
