Wrestling has lost one of its biggest legends today. What would wrestling be without Stu?
LS: Alright, we hardly gotten any airtime and we still aren't over. Anymore ideas? GD: Can you stare at your hand and spin on your head? Or better yet, we can have you shilling HUNGRY MAN DINNERS! LS: That...is very disturbing.
Motherfucker. First one of the nephews dies. Then Brian Pillman. Then Owen. Then Bret has the stroke. Then Davey Boy dies. Then Helen Hart dies. Now this. This is probably the most hardluck family in the wrestling world (moreso than the Von Erichs even).
Rest in peace, Stu. You've done the wrestling world a great service by simply being involved. I think guys like Lance Storm, Chris Benoit, Justin Liger, Chris Jericho, Hiro Hase, Steve Blackman and all the others you've trained would say the same.
FLAMES: 2-1-0-0; 4 points CUBS: NLCS Tied 3-3; DIE FAN DIE STAMPEDERS: 5-11; Officially out of playoff contention

Must be the most hardluck family in the WHOLE sport entertainment!
There's no man in Earth strong enough to hold a Wagner Drive!!
Truly sad. Here's hoping WWE handles this with the utmost class.
Sometimes I ask myself why I watch WWE after all the crap it's given me. HLA, necro, HHH, and so on. And then it hits me. That one simple phrase that can be modified and used for anything that gets you down, yet makes you keep coming back.
Every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be damned if I'm going to miss it after sitting through this shit.
That's awful news. Think of how that man's body of work extends, even to today, how many wrestlers he trained/influenced, etc. Think of that poor, poor, family, with yet another death to mourn. Awful news. My prayers are with the Hart family.
Go back to a time when wrestling DIDN'T SUCK with a special 'retro' edition of Inside The Ropes!!!
Statement from Vince McMahon, Chairman, World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.
It was with great sorrow that we learned today of the death of Stu Hart. Stu was a pioneer in professional wrestling. More importantly, he was a great man. His influence within our industry, his community and his country was immense. He will be missed, but his legend will live on. All of us at WWE™ send our condolences to Stu’s family. Our thoughts and our prayers are with them during this difficult time.
This is very very very sad news, indeed. The guy was one of the most influental people in the pro wrestling world. THIS SUCKS, BIG TIME.
Dr. Wagner Jr., I do agree with when you said the Hart Family are most hardluck family in pro wrestling history. They're truly are the Kennedy Family of wrestling.
Is it me or has 2003 being the year to lose great wrestling stars and legends. I mean so many influental people have died this year. But you can mark my words now, because this is only the tipped of the iceberg. My fear is now complete, i now know the biggest death this year is yet to come.
I now mourn this lost terribly. Rest in Peace, Stu Hart, you will be missed by ALL in wrestling. But Vince McMahon just said it best sadly, "HIS LEGEND WILL INDEED LIVE ON FOREVER."

88 years and he lived them to the fullest. But it always hurts. My dad's stepfather recently passed away at the age of 83, after great suffering. It was not a tragedy, just the inevitable end to everything that lives. But it still hurts. It always does. It would be classy for Stu's students to say something about him, or maybe have a tribute on Confidential.
It's another sad day for the wrestling world. But on the other hand, at least Stu didn't die young. He lived a fruitful life. He was greatfully successful. Without him, the wrestling world wouldn't be the same today. No Hart family, no Dungeon, and would people like Chris Benoit, Jericho, Lance Storm, etc. be the same without their Dungeon experience? Probably not.
"Cena vs. Jesus. Cena is supposed to come back full time in a few weeks, so it would be idoitic to have him loss to another green wrestler, again. Plus, Jesus and Carlito will probably be going before Wrestlemania anyway." Whaaa?!
