Hehehe. Actually (and I'm sure you've already figured this out), Chavo's "Cheater" gimmick doesn't fly for him as a face.
Ohh, is that why Chavo's gimmick hasn't worked from the very beginning in both EWR 3.0 and 4.0? I always wondered how come he was the only one whose gimmick didn't work from the very start.

All I can say is how happy I am that I added the RavenX additions, because now I can run CMLL without having to create it myself and not worry about any silly gringo wrestling. :>

| #45 Posted on 3.8.03 1050.19 | Just a tip for anyone interested: Paul London vs Kid Kash DRAWS MONEY! Every time I've had them paired up, they've scored more than 90 % overall, and often higher. This is the first time in, what, 3 different versions that I've found a pairing that have performed this well consistently.

Paul London and Funaki work too. I get usually high eighties or low ninty percent. And the Dames gives their matches high ratings too.

Now it becomes an official software title which you have to pay for. Will federations/wrestlers demand a cut? It makes sense ofcourse as they did copyright it..

| #50 Posted on 4.8.03 1158.12 | My understanding of it is that the game itself will feature fictional wrestlers and promotions, but you'll be able to download the real stuff from RaveX. So basically it'll work like the picture system for 4.0.
On a 4.0 related note, I'm LOVING the competition system. There's nothing more satisfying than crushing the opposing promotion who had just raided all of your talents.

You're still in there, Chris, though, sorry to say everybody either uses Dames or Keith so that they can get star ratings for their matches.
As for the original question: Adam's TEW will have only created wrestlers and made up promotions as to avoid potential lawsuits, however the popular (and officially unofficial) RaveX updates will feature stats for all the real wrestlers that are in the current incarnation of EWR.

| #56 Posted on 5.8.03 1745.47 | The 4.1 Update has been released. (400softwarestudioscom.siteprotect.net)
I have yet to find a complete discription of what it does, although so long as it fixes the house show bug, I'll be fine.
On a side note, has anyone started from a backyard fed with minimal public image and a bankload of money? I was screwing around today and did that for a bit, and it was neat to pick a roster of nobodies and get them over enough so that they could sign with other 'real' promotions. I've raised my fed's image from 1% to 85%, and while I have yet to draw a profit, I'm getting close. Tully Blanchard (the owner) is so proud of me.

| #57 Posted on 5.8.03 1806.37 | I found a list of corrections for the new update:
CORRECTS: -Workers not debuting correctly -House show income not showing up -Events screen freezing -Being able to change the date of the weekly event after each show -Long picture file names causing crashes -Date on load game screen being wrong -Ending TV contracts mutually causing financial loss -Adding new team to empty database causing freeze -Clicking "competitive status" causing crash -Increased the rarity of marriages to bosses daughter and owners ventures -Being able to click the "shooter" stat fixed (although it was purely a cosmetic error, it didn't actually do anything) -Owners with preference for mixed martial arts causing all workers to get fired

Wow. And I thought it was something special when Marcos of the Ring Crew Express decided to marry Rob Feinstein's secret daughter a week after I signed him.
