Face - I could go old school/new school and bust out the Stevie Wonder tribute, "Higher Ground" by RHCP. Or the rap/rock love that is "Rock Superstar" by Cypress Hill. But Chris Jericho had it right (even though he was a heel at the time) with "Evenflow" by Pearl Jam, methinks.
Heel - Where do I begin? "Sweet Dreams" by Marilyn Manson just has a nice, eerie feel to it (plus a convenient pyro point.) As suggested earlier, "Jesus Christ Pose" by Soundgarden brings the hatred like little else. But the song I like the most is "Shout 2000" by Disturbed.
Can you tell I like cover songs? :)
Shout 2000? I dunno if I'd go with that song of theirs for a heel... maybe "The Game" (no relation to HHH)? | Yun

| #62 Posted on 4.5.02 1557.35 | Man, I can't believe I forgot my actual unofficial theme song... "If I Only Had a Brain" by MC 900 Foot Jesus. It's been my theme ever since my friend and I saw it on Beavis and Butthead (Their best routine ever IMHO. It's the one where Beavis is humming along with the bassline and Butthead keeps smacking the shit out of him but Beavis never misses a beat.)

| #63 Posted on 9.5.02 2334.04 | Okay, here's where I get strange as hell.
My top ten.
10. "Four Ton Mantis" by Amon Tobin, if only because after about a minute in my stride matches the bass beat exactly.
9. "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails. Don't know if it's been used, but it'd be badass for a good heel.
8. "Fuckin' in the Bushes" by Oasis. If you've ever seen Snatch, it's the song Mickey walks out to in the final fight in the movie.
7. A heavy metal version of the original NES Castlevania theme. I have it and it sounds awesome.
6. "1-800-SUICIDE" by the Gravediggaz. A good rap song with a dominant face feel to it (this song was in Demon Knight, when Billy Zane tried to corrupt Jada Pinkett).
5. A rave style remix of the Ghostbusters theme, originally done by Ray Parker Jr. Can't take the original or else Nova'd be pissed.
4. "Time is On my Side" by the Rolling Stones. Go watch Fallen. If you've already seen it, go watch it again. HEEL HEAT DELUXE.
3. "Can't Get the Best of Me" by Cypress Hill. THE BEST CYPRESS HILL SONG EVER. I used to listen to it before football games.
2. "Jump Around" by House of Pain. I'm Irish, and goddamn if I don't list this song.
And, what I think I'd like the best...
1. "Nativity in Black" by Black Sabbath. Imagine this...
Your opponent just entered the ring with 10 minutes to go in the show. He picks up the mic and talks some trash. Then, boom, bass solo hits, Ozzy starts shrieking, and all you gotta do is walk out any way you like, pissed, smiling, pumped, whatever. THIS SONG IS THE ULTIMATE.
While working security at a local indy show, I saw Ricky Morton's bare ass, and the next time I hear anybody out there say "playing Ricky Morton", the person they mention had best have a really nice ass. | FLRockAndLaw

OMG - I think I have the same album. Is it from that Japanese CD called "Dracula Perfect Battle" or something? Because there are at least three or four really good entrance music themes on that album. In fact, I want to add one to my post from earlier - the track called "Opus 13" from the Dracula X game. High energy, fast, keyboard-heavy, but still with some nasty guitar and a slamming drum machine.

Wow, I didn't know anyone else had that CD.
I'd suggest "Theme of Simon/Calling to Heaven." from the same album. . .it's a big heroic theme. . .sped up and thrashed all to hell. You can't NOT wanna feed somebody some justice after hearing it.
On the heelish side of things, and in keeping with this videogame thread, I suggest "Rhythmic Hallucination," or "Control Crisis," from King of Fighter 1997. Good themes for a relentless killer heel. They did a remix of "Rhythmic Hallucination" that is almost a dead ringer for the Undertaker's original theme.

| #67 Posted on 12.5.02 2312.14 | "Sober" by Tool would be a great 'intense face' theme. I think it'd work for Benoit, actually.
If you wanted a good 'pissed off heel' theme, "Destroy 2000 Years of Culture" is my favourite choice.

| #68 Posted on 16.5.02 0017.59 | The problem for me answering questions like this is that it reveals my age more than the gray hairs coming out of my head do; but here goes:
"Bad Boy" written by Larry Williams, performed by The Beatles
Timeless; simply timeless. Maybe I'm just an old fool, but I can't imagine any crowd not marking out to that song while a modern-day "face with an attitude" makes his way to the ring.

Roulette (Bruce Springsteen). It's off the box set of B-sides/outtakes released a couple years ago. I love the frantic drum opening and the desperation of the lyrics, especially the chorus.
Rise Up (Parachute Club) If I went more of the happy-go-lucky route than a darker route.
Tomcat Prowl (Doug & The Slugs) For something between the two opposites.
Heel:
Criminal Mind (Gowan). That's if I wanted to be more of a sinister, back-stabbing type.
But I'm surprised nobody mentioned the ultimate heel entrance theme. One that is sure to get the lynch mobs out in full force. Everybody here will hate me for even mentioning it.

| #80 Posted on 3.6.02 1415.58 | The Castlevania heavy metal remix sounds cool, but I'd rather have the music from the Jungle level (1) from Contra.
I also agree with Pat Benatar's "Invincible" and "The Touch" from Transformers (those are gay, but nostalgia rules).
Okay, for my real, true theme music I have always wanted:
1. "Alive" by Drain STH 2. "You Could be Mine" by Guns & Roses 3. "You Better Get Ready to Die!" by Andrew W.K. 4. "Starseed" by Our Lady Peace 5. "Memory Remains" by Metallica
