I noticed a couple people mentioned Due South. It's one of my favorite shows as well, and for people who might be interested, the first season is available on DVD. Try looking on Ebay or Amazon Canada to find it. Supposedly the second season DVDs are coming out in August.
And now, for the "Cancelled Shows with a British Accent" reply...
1) Doctor Who. Suffered a reversal of fortune when Tom Baker left, and an even bigger one when Colin Baker arrived (leading to the "Season Of Hiatus", when Doctor Who disappeared for a whole season before returning with the epic "Trial Of A Time Lord"). Finally killed when publicly-financed BBC couldn't keep up with the fancy special effects of American imports like Star Trek: The Next Generation within their imposed budget.
2) Blake's 7. In the same vein as the later Star Trek: Deep Space 9, but with more shades of gray. After 22 years, some are still wondering: What did Avon see when he raised his gun?
3) The Tripods. Based on the epic "City Of Lead and Gold" trilogy, the BBC (once again) ran out of money before they could film the third story - so they never filmed it.
4) The Equalizer. Edward Woodward laying out the bad guys in New York, with Stewart Copeland providing the backing music. Suffered a large hit after Woodward suffered a heart attack before Season 3; eventually cancelled when the new powers-that-be at CBS favored Wiseguy instead.

The following post expresses the opinions of a raving Jerichoholic. He is biased, opinionated and bitter. You have been warned.
Here's a few to chew on. How about Are You Afraid of the Dark? They run this one out of nowehere on Nick sometimes, but it hasn't been regular for 5 (?) years now. And then there's Celebrity Deathmatch, assuming MTV didn't start running it at 7 when Heat moved to TNN.
What about Unhappily Ever After? Moderately funny show, kinda like Married With Children but with Nikki Cox instead of Christina Applegate. And that's a good thing.
EDIT: Space s in the midd le of wor ds are not gram atic all y corr ec t.

Without knowing the rules to this post, I included shows that had proper endings to them to my list. I'm betting that many people here won't remember number 1...
(1) Camp Wilder (2) Growing Pains (3) Saved By The Bell: College Years (4) Family Ties (5) Lois & Clark (6) Power Rangers Zeo (7) Transformers (The Original Series) (8) Drew Carey (9) WCW Nitro (10) Sliders
(edited by SOK on 6.7.03 1021) Steven + Faith: Three months of happiness, and a controlling, emotionally manipulative, and psycho sister. Not Faith...Faith's sister. Don't ask. PLEASE don't ask...

You didn't like Peter Davison's Who?
Technically, that should be Peter Davison's Doctor.
Peter Davison's take on the Doctor was too much like his take on Tristan Farnon in "All Creatures Great and Small". Cute, but not particularly deep - and quite pale in comparison to the complexity of Tom Baker's Doctor. However, his tenure did provide Whovians with one great moment - the violent death of Adric.
