No, no, no. The $240 worth of pudding is the end-all, be-all. Hell, that's why the back of my A2NWO shirt says "Cook...and chill."

Yes, it's still a current catchphrase with an indy wrestling video crew. God help us all.

NIGHT STAND...... no doubt

that show was great on so many levels; my favorite two catchphrases were the "Oh noooooo people, noo" and the "hey i'm sick - i need help"

I watched the 13 episodes of that a couple times, and it looked to have just as much potential as the original did. But, after reading the reason as to why it was cancelled, I'm damned glad JMS didn't sell out and turn it into a show like, say, Enterprise.

Look again! I did Click Here (wienerboard.com)

I was pretty lukewarm on the show during its TNT run but with repeated viewings I grew to appreciate it enough to seek out the scripts for the last 3 episodes they never filmed.

Had TNT given it a LITTLE more time . . .Crusade would have had a bang-up half-season with a serious "Holy shit" cliffhanger, something JMS couldn't manage in B5's Season 5 to any degree or "Legend of the Rangers" at all.

And Gary Cole kicked ass as the captain. Kinda scary how he went from that to "Harvey Birdman."

That show got me to walk around making mental notes to myself. . . out loud.

On topic, it would have been nice to see Firefly in order and in its entirety (and in a better timeslot...)

It's getting a DVD release, with all the episodes that were filmed, in the order they were meant to be seen.

Or so claimed AICN...don't have a link handy, though.

EDIT: OK, found the link, but it seems pretty sketchy. It's something to hope for, though.

Can't believe I forgot about Parker Lewis!

I remember seeing the promos for this show when it was debuting and saying "Ferris Beuller knock-off, no chance," plus an actual "Ferris Beuller" show (w/o Matthew Broderick) was going to be on, so I didn't check it out until FOX put on new episodes of it that next summer.

Why isn't there a channel for shit like this?? Trio is showing "Brilliant, but cancelled" but so far, it's been a little high-brow for my low-brow tastes.

Another show I remembered that I haven't seen mentioned was "Friday the 13th - The Series." It actually had nothing to do with Jason Voorhees, but was about some paranormal investigators. That red-haried chick was way hot!

I saw The PJs come up in their schedule recently.

I watched a bit of Trio a while back when they were showing the original Degrassi, and it seemed like an ok network... kind of an alternative A&E, but they switched our cable package and instead of Trio and Sundance we got... Discovery Kids. Yeah.

When I think of unfairly canceled, the first show that leaps to mind is Profit. Great, deeply weird show, and the critics were lining up to give it blowjobs -- and Fox killed it after a measly four episodes. Even Andy Richter Controls the Universe got a better shot than that.

ALRIGHT PEOPLE, LISTEN UP! I guess I am the only one who liked "that '80's Show."
I also liked Dark Angel. We don't get it up here, but when I'm in San Diego, I watch Young Hercules on Movieplex (i think that'sthe channels name.)

was it the State that had the "i wanna dip my balls in it" guy? the best one ever was the one with the Romans Chasing Jesus " Romans: Have you seen a guy named jesus? Jesus: Yeah, he ran that way. he's wearing a tie and saying something about his balls."

I think it might have been the Upright Citizens Brigade. I forget which ep, but I'll have to find the CD's.

Which brings to mind "The Ben Stiller Show" and it's Sunday night partner, "Flying Blind" (Tea Leoni was so hot on that show!).

I just thought of another one that deserves mention. Does anybody else remember a show called "Davis Rules" which starred Jonathan Winters and Randy Quaid (I think it was very early 90's)? That show was hilarious in its first season on ABC, most notably because of Winters and his tendency to go off-script and totally ad-lib scenes.

It was cancelled from ABC after its first year, but then picked up by CBS. Of course, CBS "retooled" the show, and thus ruined it, and it was promptly cancelled off that network, too.

If we are going to mention Tea Leoni, I got to mention The Naked Truth, I actually thought that was a pretty solid show about a tabloid newspaper.. Oh and Drew, I did mention Friday the 13th the Series. That show was solid and interesting on a weekly bases.

Did (watching) Ellie get cancelled? I think I'm the only person who actually thought this show didn't suck. But then again I'm a huge Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Grande, I thought the 80s show was awful. I love the 80s and find it funny. But they made it unfunny. From the pilot episode I knew they were in trouble. They had all the stereotypes down but had no heart behind.

Much thanks to DJ Ran for mentioning one of my favorite shows, the all-too-often maligned Charles In Charge.

Terrible show, but the one daughter was pretty hot and the guy that played the immortal Buddy Lembeck was so bad he was hilarious.

I love this new network trend of canceling shows after 1-2 episodes. Cheers was DEAD LAST in the primetime ratings after its first season, but NBC ended up pretty well off for sticking with it.

Oliva: You are the weakest link! Goodbye!

Stewie: Ahahaha. Oh God, that's funny. That's really funny. You write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. 'You are the weakest link. Goodbye!' You know I've never heard anyone make that joke before. You're the first. I've never heard anyone reference that outside program before. Because that's what she says on the show, right? Hmmm? 'You are the weakest link. Goodbye!' And ye...ye..yet you've taken it and....and used it out of context to insult me in this everyday situation. What a clever, smart girl you must be. To come up with a joke like that all by yourself. Mmmmm...that's so fresh too. Any Titanic jokes you want to throw at me as long as we're hitting these phenomena at the height of their popularity. Mmmm? Cuz i'm here God you're so funny!
