Well, we already had narrowed it down to Booker and Jericho anyway.

As if that wasn't inevitable to begin with? At least HHH couldn't make Jericho look bad in this supposed fight with Goldberg.

I love how some people are automatically blaming Goldberg, and automatically assuming that Jericho will get the blame.

Heck, maybe Jericho attacked Goldberg suddenly and Goldberg just defended himself. Or maybe it was the other way around. Or maybe they are both to blame and both will be punished. Or maybe the WWE will just shrug it off as a misunderstanding will not punish anybody. Who knows? I don't, but my point is that neither do you.

Well I heard it was Eric Bishcoff that broke up the fight. . . .and then he threw hot coffee on both of them.

Maybe Jericho will wear a new shirt on the next Raw. It will read:

Jericho 5
Greenberg 0

Goldberg has a history of getting into fights backstage. Evan Karagias' name springs to mind right away. Also, his shouting insults at HHH at a toy fair was pretty lame. He also has a history of being an egomaniac and hard to deal with.

Chris Jericho, on the other hand, doesn't have any sort of reputation.

New backstage reports are saying that Steven Richards fought with Himself. No word yet as to who started the fight.....but word has it that Steven Richards has always had a problem working with Himself back in ECW and in WWF/WWE.

I will provide further info as it becomes available.

I now hate Goldberg and Y2J, because they along with the rest of the locker room are guilty of holding down Steven Richards.I am handing in my Y2J Mark-Out card ASAP.

The above was by a Steven Richards mark and was used here to spread the Gospel of Steven Richards future Worlds Champion.

I'm reasonably sure that's the point he was making in the first place.

Anyway, don't worry about it; the Open Letter thing has burned itself out pretty quickly.

I wonder if Goldberg was sitting in Bischoffs "TV" office when Jericho and he tussled. People your supposed to be the "smarts" not the easily put over upon. This is a crap story, derrived from net lore that Billy the Spear and King of the Assclowns have legit heat w/ eachother. They are entertainers not real fighters, and IMO they don't really take it as personal as you people want to believe, and yes that includes they're spot on the card, as long as they get paid... and seeing by recent payroll mistakes like D'lo's supposed 350K a year to live in jobbberville and god knows what they pay Albert and Mark Henry... being a Mid Carder dont pay all that bad.

No no no, I was serious, open letters are the way to go,

I thought I had laid the sarcasm on thick enough that no one would miss it, oh well.

And didn't it say somewhere that Jericho and Goldberg put it all behind them. Might be at WWE.com even..
Ofcourse, saying it and meaning it are two different things.

Anyways, as was stated a few posts above, this sounds like bullshit. Don't believe Everything we read is my advice.

Oh, and if it were true then they are both babies. Simple as that. ;)

I find myself wondering if this really happened, or if is just an attempt at getting a "bad-ass" vibe for Goldberg. For the sake of Jericho, I hope it is just part of the sell job, because if it is real, and there is 'punishment' needed, it won't be Goldberg getting crapped on.

It seems that Goldberg went the "small" wrestler bit on Jericho backstage and then grabbed him by the throat. It appears this is all Goldberg's doing and Jericho was just standing up for himself.

However, I wonder how this will play out. In one corner, you have a man who loves wrestling and has been good for the company since his arrival. He has never tried any backstage politics or power plays. He has done whatever the company has asked him to do. he has put over young talent and never bitched. He is over with the fans as both a heel and a face. And then there is Goldberg, the man who tried to bleed Vince dry to come here. The man who has caused problems whereever he has gone. And on his second night, he insults Jericho. And let's not forget how much he insulted the WWE product while they were trying to sign him.

If Vince has ANY LOYALTY AT ALL to his wreslters, he will let Goldberg go over Rock at Backlash and then throw Jericho at GOldberg and have Jericho go over him at the following PPV. But by that time, Jericho will be locked into a feud with Steiner.

What is the "small wrestler bit"? I'm unfamiliar with this term.

Wherever he has gone? He's only been 2 places (I'm not sure I count the one match I think he had in Japan).

The 'small wrestler bit' is the 'I'm a Hoss and a small guy should only be used as a squash match for me. If I sell any offense for someone small, my character will be irreparably harmed.'
