The T-Wolves made a deal with the Grizzlies? That must have been a real meeting of the minds; the two guys that single-handedly created this year's Lakers/Celtics NBA Finals.

In a separate blockbuster, Minnesota traded their second round pick Mario Chalmers to the Heat for two 2009 2nd round picks and some cash.
Dear McHale:
You suck.
Love, CRZ
Actually, I think Minnesota STOLE this deal. They got out of Marko Jaric AND Antoine Walker's deals. Sure, they took back Cardinal, but you have to take SOME crap when dealing crap. OJ Mayo wasn't going to stay there anyway, he's destined for a big city (plus I'm not sure he's a good as they say).
Getting Mike Miller will help ease the scoring load for Al Jefferson and if they can get anything from Randy Foye, you've got a decent core. Kevin Love isn't anything special, but I see him being a solid pro.
Meanwhile, what the hell is Memphis's plan? They have like 10 guys that play either the one or the two, plus the Useless Twins (Darko and Kwame).
Kevin Kelly: "Mr. Austin, would you like to comment on Wade Keller's Take that endorsing the XFL hurts your anti-authority character?"
Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"
Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"
Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."

I also think Minnesota got the better end of this deal. Jaric and Walker were dead weight and Kevin Love is way better than you think he is and OJ Mayo isn't as good as you think he is. A win for the Wolves, I think.
If Love isn't a stiff it gives Minnesota a nice frontcourt with him and Jefferson. The way the West is they weren't going to the playoffs next season if they had Love and Mayo. The big question in this trade is how long does it take Mayo to get out of Memphis.
