I see the Department of Homeland Security's Threat Advisory Level has been replaced with with Symantec's ThreatCon, which tells the level of current internet security risks. Any reason for that?
I like it. It's more likely to change (we've been at Threat Advisory Yellow since August), and truthfully, more likely to affect my day-to-day life.
In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.
Originally posted on Symantec's websiteThreatCon Level 1 Low : Basic network posture This condition applies when there is no discernible network incident activity and no malicious code activity with a moderate or severe risk rating. Under these conditions, only a routine security posture, designed to defeat normal network threats, is warranted. Automated systems and alerting mechanisms should be used.
I think it's a great idea. I may put something like that on my site, as well.

I am reminded that Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend in most of Europe, ENDS in Australia and North America waits until next weekend. Since our server runs on Central time, we won't turn our clock ahead an hour until the third of April.
